Trump ‘really, really thinks he’s going to win’

Donald Trump thinks he’s going to win the White House, despite polls that show him badly trailing Hillary Clinton, his campaign CEO said in an interview published Wednesday.

"Right now he really, really thinks he's going to win,” Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon said in an interview with CNN.

Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, said media outlets are failing to see “the amount of anger that's out there.”

National and battleground state polls show Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, is faltering.

Clinton, the Democratic nominee, is leading Trump by 6.6 points in the RealClearPolitics average of polls.

She is also leading in most of the swing states, including Florida, Virginia, New Hampshire and Colorado.

Ed Rollins, the veteran GOP political operative who leads a pro-Trump super PAC, told radio host Laura Ingraham this week that it would take “a miracle” for Trump to win.

Trump in recent days has scoffed at polls that show him behind, however.

“I don't believe the polls anymore,” he said Tuesday before a crowd in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Trump has also repeatedly said that the election is being rigged against him, a claim many people believe he will make if he loses.

In the CNN interview, Bannon also supported Trump's recent claims on voter fraud.

“I know there is voter fraud,” he said.

They adjust the polls for the last election turnout percentages.

This does not account for all the new voters Trump has pulled in to the new election process.

Bottom line is that by adjusting your survey samples of the population you can end up with any poll result you desire.

Romney was convinced too. It is tough to win when every broadcast outlet is in the tank for Hillary.

I tend to agree with Rush Limbaugh on this.

Pollsters are subject to political group-think, and polls are also overtly used for pushing the narrative to the gullible among us. On the other hand, more serious pollsters don’t want to be too “wrong” in their ultimate predictions. As such, they will start to “tighten” their polls in the week before election day, to as best they are allowed, represent reality.

Let’s see if that occurs.

Romney didn’t have Trump’s level of support.

Hillary surely doesn’t have Obama’s level of support. That’s clearly in evidence.

Maybe Trump knows something the rest of the Commie media doesn’t know. I went for a walk yesterday and saw our neighbor down the street, a really nice Filipino woman she has a cute pup I always like to say hi to..she asked me about the election I was afraid to say Trump since I had no idea how she would react..so I asked her and she whispered to me “Im voting for Trump I like him” granted this is CA so he has no chance here but I think there are PLENTY of voters who are afraid to say who they are voting for but vote Trump on election day

I think he will win. But with all the D voting fraud. I think he should do a massive advertising campaign right now. And train as many poll watchers as possible. And do a huge get out the vote effort. Easiest and quickest _ step 1 — toss a couple hundred million of that ten billion he’s got into a really good ad campaign right away. It’s now or never

If trump wins I would love his acceptance speech to be titled “ America... You have been gaslit by the media and I am gonna make it stop”

It’s darkest before dawn, especially if you’re the media lying with polls and constant negative attacks..

=======================================

(hat tip BigEd)--Trump needs to have this in place now---BEFORE the election:

<><> a database of every precinct in the country.

<><> a database of every address in the country.

<><> purchase datasets of people from Intelius and or Zabasearch.

<><> Merge all and see what pops up.

<><> get the Social Security death index. Make sure that if you are on the ssdi, you aren’t registered to vote.

<><>line up poll watchers for precincts with abnormal turnout.

As to the vote side: see if there is a way to demand a paper trail through the court system of the states. If the integrity check of the machines fails, ask for an order for paper ballots. Machine-only precincts have paper ballots in case of a power outage or hard drive crash.

I believe this trend has been born out by history. BTW the LA Times polls which have favored Trump were supposedly very close on the Obama / Romney.

On "group think" I would just say there is lots of group think and spin going on on both sides. Trump discounts polls because they show him behind. If they showed him ahead he would be bragging about them like he did during the primaries. One has to ignore a lot of this noise until the final week and we will see if Trump pulls it off or loses to Hillary Clinton, one of the lamest crooks to run for the WH.

Romney quit campaigning after the first debate and ran the worst campaign ever. How many times has the media/FR declared Trump finished?

Pray America wakes

And I suspect several pollsters will blame a lot of their respondents for lying to them.

They won't admit they got it wrong-they'll say they were lied to.
