LD22 PC Karen Thomas has updated her Judges 2016 report. I'll add that I have been impressed with the fairness of Paul McMurdie on family court issues. We previously published Karen's recommendations in 2014 here.
Perhaps one of the most important selections on the AZ ballot is the affirmation of Judges. Check out the PDF at this site to have an idea of how you should vote.
Thanks for that ! This is where the rule of law begins.
If anyone knows how to find who runs the Arizona Freeper ping list, please let me know or forward to them for dissemination.
Thanks!
http://www.azcourts.gov/jpr Is another resource. My brother’s philosophy was to vote against all judges on the theory that it will help out the weal link. Sometimes I agree.
Whew! That's a relief, I was worried that the weal link weren't going to survive.
Thanks! Yes I saw that, but this is more condensed and easier to follow rather than doing extensive research. I would probably come to the same conclusions.
I looked up each judge in Maricopa County and all who were nominated by Napolitano got a no from me. I gave my list to a friend to use or I would post it.
We moved to Arizona this year (from CA), but we are in the Prescott area so the judges we vote on are different than this list except for one: Ann Timmer.
I didn’t quite understand the guide you posted—Ann Timmer is listed at the top (not alphabetical like the rest), and her info was in the same sized font as the opening paragraph of the guide.
My question: Ann Timmer was not in bold, does that mean she should get a “no” vote (as this guide recommends)?
No on Ann Timmer, check second page of file that was on the site.
