that song was first performed at THTRB. Yup, and it was written by a New Yorker who had never been to a baseball game.

Great...I can hear people yelling and horns honking outside; maybe people will be over their anger and off the streets by the time I leave work at 9...I don't want to trudge through crowds of dissapointed Sox fans mixed with happy Yankees fans...not a good mix...
To: RedBloodedAmerican
No, seriously, his accent is intriguing.

Hope you drive a Bradley.

Bradley? sorry...confused...
I'm actually taking the bus home, which means I have to walk to the bus stop, hence my trudging through people...

Sorry, I'm just incredibly sick of hearing how everyone is pro-Yankee. McCarver and Morgan are notorious among hard-core Yankee fans as hating the Yankees, so I guess perception is everything. I think we can all agree one on thing about them: they are both incredibly annoying!

For sale: Red Sox bats. Not currently being used.
Sadly, pitching is not what got the Red Sox to this point, it was their hitting. Good scouting reports in the playoffs, or lack of execution? I think a little of both. I think we'll see the Red Sox pull off game six behind Burkett, who always gets good run support. Then, of couse, we'll be at seven.

As former players, they think they know everything. And, the probably do. However, they forgot that their are two sets of fans watching; one for each team. McCarver and Morgan both seem pro Yankee, if you ask me.

Red Sox should come in loose. I think the pressure is on the Yankees for game 6, even though they have the advantage.
If the Red Sox get to game 7, in my view, the BoSox have the same odds at winning the game as the Yankees.

The Yankee infield is strong as a whole, although Jeter's year has been subpar, and Soriano makes spectacular plays more often than he makes routine ones. Alfonso will probably be moved to center field next year, with Bernie moving to left and Matsui to right.
Should be a zoo in the Bronx tomorrow.
To: Mr. Mojo
Thanks Mojo. Jeter's glove usually shines in the clutch. I was thinking Alfonso in left--although my mother has a better arm than Bernie, he does go back well on a ball.

Hey, who knew the ivy turned red in October at Wrigley Field?
To: LisaFab
Left field is the perfect place for weak arms. Runners on 2nd base rarely (if ever) tag to 3rd on balls hit to left field. Bernie has an average (although accurate) arm normally, but his recent shoulder problems have made it very weak.
The Boss will probably go out and buy a 2nd baseman, unless he has someone in mind in the farm system.

The late 70's Yankee teams will always be my favorite. .....growing up with them and all. Same here. Did you see Bob Klapisch's interview with Nettles and Gossage, and what they think about this series? It's on espn.com.
To: NYCVirago
No, I didn't. Thanks, I'll check it out.

Oh duh...I should've known what 'Bradley' you were talking about...you'll have to excuse my ditsy-ness that shows up sometimes...
