Can someone tell me how many houses have burned now?

I have heard old figures on the National News all day long...but those were the same figures they were giving LAST night at midnight

Anyone know the new figures...

Have the fires died down some? I heard things were not as bad?

Course trying to get real info out of there...heh

Here is the link I have been listening to on KFI, 640AM, out of Los Angeles. They have gone to complete fire coverage with updates every 15 minutes from around the LA area including San Bernardino:

Fry's has good prices on scanners if anyone is looking. If they still have any left. Check Best Buy, Circuit City and Radio Shack too.

They are showing the National Weather Center here in Norman where they are tracking wind, humidity, and temperatures for firefighters in CA. It is about two miles from where I live.

Also gave the location for a feed store in OKC that is gathering pet food, horse feed, etc. for CA animals that may need the food as they are displaced.

These folks, the firefighters, police, etc can use all the help they can get. The least we can do is pray!

Winds 15-20 mph in the Lake Arrowhead area as the fire crossed I-18 at the Cliffhanger and burning up to Lake Arrowhead.

Winds are also picking up in the Simi Valley fire area.
