Rest tonight assured that the vast majority of Hollywood lawyers and their crooked clients soiling their undergarments as the Pellicano investigation unfolds. And a lot of Clintonistas. There was speculation on some cable news show last night (can't definitively recall which one, since I was flipping back and forth all night, but I think it was Dan Abrams) that a lot of insiders think the Pellicano thing is literally a Clinton re-creation of Nixon's Plumbers unit, and that it will eventually blossom into a full-fledged criminal scandal, an after-the-fact Watergate for the Clinton Administration.
I've heard too many claims of scandals "certain to bring down the Clintons" before that never panned out, so I'm not going to get my hopes up too much on this one, but if anything would have the legs to truly destroy them, it would be something like this.

Never liked him or his music. I got a copy of "Thriller" for my 9th birthday and I used to LOVE that album...played it until the batteries ran out on my Walkman. I think Michael Jackson is a tragic figure...he's a musical genius. It's just too bad he's also a FREAK. I won't buy his albums anymore...I'll be damned if I contribute to another buyoff of a molestation victim. I speak from personal experience...but the person who molested me wasn't rich. I'm sure $20 million would have paid for a lot of therapy.

The only 80's band that I think will stand the test of time is U2. Those stupid "hair" bands like "Motley Crew" and "Poison" are monuments to white trash middle America. Don't forget Great White, Dokken, Warrant, Winger, Skid Row, etc., etc. There had to be fifty "hair" bands from that time that were big in the 1980s but forgotten ever since Nirvana exploded upon the scene and alternative rock took over. And I didn't even include the new-wave bands like Flock of Seagulls, Haircut 100, Duran Duran, Adam Ant, etc., etc. What a lousy decade for music. The 1970s gets a lot of criticism too but it was a much better decade for rock music.
I agree that U2 will at least stand the test of time but I lean towards their newer stuff (post Achtung Baby). Their older albums sound sort of dated now. If only Bono wasn't such a bonehead, I'd appreciate their music that much more.

I would think LE should know whether Jackson was in residence before they arrived.

Let's see how many perp lovers come in here to defend the monster.

Bury the scumbags, every last puking one of them, for the sake of my family and the future of the nation. Thank God for George W. Bush. Where's my checkbook?Yep, we are at war.

He's a freak --- but what kind of parents are letting 12 year olds go to his home and stay overnight?

He is one weird dude but you can't help but wonder if this is an extortion attempt It'd be easy --- some parents might have seen how much money the previous kid who accused him got out of the deal and sent their 12 year old to spend the night with him too. Jackson obviously isn't too bright if he allows other peoples' kids to be in a position to accuse him --- if he's not a pedophile, he didn't learn his lesson.
What was the kid doing there at his home and why did the parents let him go?

They didn't want to tip him off. His family's lawyer was on Larry King last night and said that he thought they should have called at least one of his battery of lawyers. It was also reported that, if he'd been there, they would have taken him to the police station in handcuffs. (Ergo, the ambulance in case the boy fainted.)

but it is illegal to report the name or identity of a MINOR molestation victem. Not likely to be attacked. The fact remains the parents did this kid a disservice and it allowed Frankenmolester to keep going after kids. The fact remains that I believe ( and I would bet it is the mothers) that know good and well their child is at risk from jackson and take a bit of comfort in knowing that if it did happen they would get fame and money for using thier child as a fishing lure. Yes there are sick people like that in this world. .... There is no other way to explain people that let thier children within reach of this preditor.

Suicide watch.
If he wants to go I hope he leaves the children behind. They never asked to be part of his life. They seem like very nice children.

He looked and acted like a normal, cute, black kid and then something happened to him.
What a pity....such a talented man. You have to give credit for staying in the limelight as long as he did.

Bono isn't that egregious - or at least not as annoying as he used to be. He is into his Africa charity work and has said some nice things about Bush for his help. He is hardly the biggest loud mouthed left wing entertainer out there today.
