Logan’s Miracle Room

Welcome to Logan’s Miracle Room.

We were all a part of this miracle through our prayers for his healing, and we thank God for the blessing received from being chosen to be a part of Logan’s life.

We ask that you come forth with your sick little ones and loved ones.
Tell us about the sickness, and your grief and your sorrow and your dread for tomorrow.
We understand.
We’ve been there, too.
Join with us and experience the power of prayer.
With God, all things are possible.

Prayers for your precious grandson, Jack. I'll remember his name with no problem - that was my half-brother's nickname.

I have learned that now being homebound, except for my respite days so I can take a break, that a strong prayer life is essential to my mental health.

Your ability to do everything for Chris, 24/7, and plan ahead for his future, makes you one in a million, maybe ten million. That's true and pure love. God bless you and Chris!

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the newness of life that is Clink's beloved grandchild, Jack. May the Spirit of Calm and Assurance descend mightily upon his beloved parents as they give him over to surgery today. Guide the surgeon's hands with the greatest of skill that Jack's heart will stabilize. Overrule the prognosis and touch this precious child, O God, that his heart would be healed. May this family rest in Your loving provision and remain confident in Your care. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

Praying for Nana's quick recovery. And adding a prayer for a quick recovery for TC and his triple root canal! May he be back to the Texas salsa in no time.

Logan, your little buddy Oliver had a rough day today. You know how you used to get poked and prodded a lot by doctors? Well, today Oliver went boom and his head hit the bottom of a banister (the staircase itself is gated off, of course, and he fell on carpet except for the forehead that hit that stupid bannister!!!) that was sharp squared wood. Ooooh, the blood. Scared Mama to death.

Well, his pedi said that he only sews up the horizontal cuts at the brow line, not the vertical ones like the 1/2 inch cut Ollie got, and sent him to a plastic surgeon.

Logan, he got OUCHED big time by those big shots right in his face. He was NOT HAPPY. Mama had to help hold him while he got 4 tiny stitches in his face. Doc said it would still scar but just to a thin line. When we got home, he was all bandaged up and happy to play with his toys, while Mama was ALL JELLO CRASHED ON THE COUCH. LOL.

But the plastic surgeon was really cool -- he was a "ring doctor" and had sewn up about a million prizefighters; I recognized SOME of those famous faces on the wall.

Hoping Nana is feeling better and TC too.

Oh No! My poor buddie got a big Owie! Please give him a hug for me and then ask him to hug you for me too. I hate needles. And having them in the face must be terrifying for a little guy. Tell "O" that I can climb stairs too! At my Nana's house I have fun going from room to room because it's all different levels. Makes Mommy and Nana real nervous though :)

And Oliver..... you gotta take it easy on your Mommy buddy. They get real scared when we get hurt or sick. So I guess we both had better slow down and be a little more careful.

Hugs to y'all from Texas !!!

Jack's surgery went fine. In addition to inserting the pacemaker, they also performed a sypathectomy. The procedures took 2 hours and he is in ICU for at least tonight.

Quite a trial for one who is only 3 days old, but I'm sure that with all the prayers going his way, Jack will be fine. Thank you to all who have reached out to help.

Zachary Update 10-21-04

Angela and her mom just left today to go to Florida for a few days to visit her brother and see Zachary. I just spoke with her tonight after she went to see him. She said he is doing good. He is now up to 3+ pounds in weight and there does not seem to be any complications at the time. We really appreciate all your prayers and support. Take care.

Chad
