Just when you think the French can't do or say anything dumber, more arrogant, or devious, they sink to new depths. As for Germany's geographical dilemma, the mere thought of living cheek by jowl with them for centuries makes my head spin. It's bad enough with Quebec to the north of New England (and God help the rest of Canada), but to have the full monty just over the border would be intolerable. Good grief!

But after checking the passenger lists, French police said they had found no evidence of a threat. The main suspect signalled by the American embassy was a Tunisian man who was at home in Tunisia and had no intention of flying to Los Angeles, they said.

Then why was a ticket bought in his name?

My first thought when I heard of the cancellations was that this should really scare a few of the hollywierd folks. We all know how much they like to jump across the pond to the most progressive country out there. We ought to be hearing the scream of barbra, sean, alec, deppy-boy, the chicky-girls and a few of the others as they realize this was just a right wing conspiracy to make them fear there trips "home". Remember how many of them were afraid to fly after 9-11. They are gonna be P-O'ed, folks!

Time to break off all diplomatic relations with France and withdraw the French ambassador.

I would suppose the frenchies would calm down eventually. They can't win here. Given their inate cowardly nature they must realize, somewhere in the back of their craven minds, that nobody can keep the islamonazis under control through quizling behaviour forever. As we close off their opportunities for murder here they will begin to foul their Eurabian nest more and more.

Then who will be called upon to save their silly asses?

The best way for the French to feel anguish over terrorism would be for terrorists to fly jumbo jets into the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Pompidou Center.

Don't forget that choice target...'The Arc de Full Retreat'!!

"Ever since I lived in Germany in the the late 70's til early 80's, I have detested, loathed & hated the French."

Why? Can you be more specific?

if only your handle was not so subtle; then everyone could see that you see through the french because of your skill in the use of language.

If it is an alternative to French wine that you are looking for wines from Georgia I have found to be very, very good.

I haven't seen any Georgian wines here (we are in the Midwest). I will keep an eye out for them. Thanks!

What I find most disturbing about the left and the French is that they really do not care about people. I just happen to work in aviation as I have for the past 14 years and I can tell you that at my airline if you are going to make a mistake you are to err on the side of safety. In other words it is better to be overly cautious than not cautious enough. What I am saying is that our Government did absolutely nothing wrong here. Furthermore, what really disturbs me is that my cousin, who is a Flight attendant for Air France, who wanted to come to this country, who sat right next to me this past Christmas Eve her life means nothing to the left and that makes me angry to no end. Also if you can find it in yourself to pray for the safety for all of those who travel by land, by sea and by air it would be much appreciated.

BINGO!! You have asked the 64000 dollar question. You owe me for the stitches in my chin, my jaw dropped so far and hard.

What scares me is that I was so dim. Sort of makes me think I may have a french ancestor.
