Most of this article is grist for Art Bell's bull-mill. Toss in sasquatch, the Face on Mars, and UFOs and you'll have a complete set.

Someone is trying to lay the groundwork to accuse the US of causing the earthquake in Iran.

That gives me an idea. Lets have the Pentagon start a rainstorm over the Afghan mountains that keeps going for 40 days and 40 nights. Then when Mullah Omar and Osama Bin Laden get into their ark, we can nuke them with manmade lightning.
I never knew we had these weapons, but if a person with a PhD title says so, it must be true.

A Darth Nader voter in 2000 and an anyone-but-Bush voter in 2004. She's probably an ugly, fat b*tch, as well.

Well, it was inevitable. The tree-hugging peace pukes have run low on fresh boogeymen, so they're attempting to vilify the armes forces now. And I'll bet that these deluded malcontents will actually try to get the military to make their tanks and planes 'greener'!!!!!!!!!! Oh, where's a stray Daisy Cutter when you need it? >:-)

The twits at DU seem to think so. That's where I found the link to this story. I was looking for an "Evil That People Do" post for my site. Sure enough I found it.
I should have given a tin-foil-hat warning here on FR.

According to her, the military has got away scot-free from responsibility for polluting the environment and ecological disasters. It is hard to enforce your will on the winners of a war.
And shouldn't it be, "...has gotten?"

Well, if one were ever tempted to take them seriously over there, that should clear up all doubts! Absolutely amazing... seems that more than half of them are buying into the crackpot.

This all new edition contains such illustrious contributors as Jane Addams, Anna Akhmatova, Daisy al-Amir, Fadwa Tuqan, Gwendolyn Brooks, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Gace Paley, Claribel Alegria, Isaabel Allende, Maya Angelou, Simone de Beauvoir, Helen Caldicott, Rosalie Bertell, Carolyn Forche, Emma Goldman, Nadine Gordimer, Kimiko Hahn, Molly Peacock, Rochelle Ratner, Pwu Jean Lee, Tsai Wen Ji, Ch'iu Chin, Robin Morgan, Gabriela Mistral, Linda Hogan, Adrienne Rich, Denise Levertov, Vandana Shiva, Arundhati Roy, Wislawa Symborska, Luisa Valenzuela, Christa Wolf, Muriel Rukeyser, June Jordan and 100 others including Daniela Gioseffi herself who writes an insiteful and politically astute overview, as well as contributing a moving poem and an apt story.
