President Bush is beginning to anger certain hard-line conservatives, particularly over fiscal issues, the way his father did in the year before he lost to Bill Clinton in 1992.

It's not clear how deep the dissatisfaction goes, and whether it will translate to damage at the polls in November.

I'm one of the "hard-line conservatives" who won't be voting for Bush.

You're also not a conservative whatsoever.

I am not voting for Bush. I'm voting against Dean and his fellow dwarves, against Nader, against McKinney, against...

Get it?

Not very.

and whether it will translate to damage at the polls in November.

It won't.

GWB will win in a landslide and crush the Dean-supporting FRinge FReaks.

And that's a respectable position.

As a conservative though, I will be whole-heartedly voting for GWB. He's done an amazing job for conservatism.

"I'm beginning, for the first time, [to hear] people talk about 'it would not be the worst thing in the world if Howard Dean were president,' because the size of government would stay still rather than increase 50 percent under a second Bush administration."

Bush’s spending decisions have absolutely sucked ass, but this is just retard talk.

Excuse me Sir, but you are wrong on that one. I am indeed a conservative who will vote for the Constitution Party, the America First Party, or the Libertarian Party or I may write in Tom Tancredo.

You may disagree with my choice. I respect yours, but I AM a conservative.

LOL....yeah, no conservative would ever say that.

None of which are even remotely close to choices a true conservative would make. You're really not much of a conservative at all. I don't know your exact beliefs, but it's very obvious you are no kind of conservative in any manner. I'd imagine you're probably just another one of the national socialist populist union and "middle class" supporting types that lurk around here. Don't kid yourself. You're not a conservative. Conservatives only have one choice in 2004 and the overwhelming majority of them will make that choice happily.

I am not a hard core conservative, I consider myself a mainstream Conservative and I will not be voting for Bush in the Presidential election, especially with his coming endorsement of amnesty for illegals. Between that and his CFR idiocy he lost my vote.

I will however never vote for Dean or any of the other Anti-American/Pro-Muslim crowd. That leaves not voting in the Pres. election or voting Constitution Party, since I value my vote, I will be voting for the Constitutional party in the Pres. election and true conservatives in all others.

I am pissed off too....but Guns are my issue.

I will vote for him if he lets the assault weapons ban fall. If he doesn't...I will sit it out.

Yeah, he may lose a few conservative votes from people staying home, but there will be more than enough extra moderates to make up for them.

Like with most of the FRinge, I'm sure GWB has very little to do with this fact.

Is it because of his fiscal policies, or his policies that help Israel?

NO real conservative would help a Democrat get elected.

Voting for some 3rd party is taking a vote away from Bush.

You and people like you are exactly the ones who gave us 8 years of Clinton.

If all the conservatives had voted for Bush I, instead of Perot or some other third party candidate, Bush I had beaten Clinton.

You are personally responsible for the damage Clinton has done to the country for 8 years.

As some pointed out, it's your choice, sure, you can vote directly for Dean, why bother pretending, but you most certainly not entitled to call yourself a conservative, when you are aiding the election of a Democrat.

Anyone aiding and enabling a Democrat to get elected, especially in these critical times is just plain enemy of the US and the American people.
