"This guy is a piece of work; I thought all the kookiest conspiracy mongers were right here on FR!"

Thereau is a piece-of-something, that's for sure. But what grabbed my eye was...

Ruppert also interviewed two Democratic Congress representatives who said they believed Wellstone was murdered. One said, "I don't think there's anyone on the Hill who doesn't suspect it. It's too convenient, too coincidental, too damned obvious. My guess is that some of the less courageous members of the party are thinking about becoming Republicans right now."

Jim McDermott and John Conyers? Then, they're as certifiable as Ruppert and Thereau.

Amazing...

Just think, folks - if the lefties ever get their much-ballyhooed joke of a radio network off the ground, this is a sample of what will pollute the airwaves.

Shortly before he died in a mysterious airplane crash
Loss of lift ain't too mysterious,But then again when "publick edukatioon" is more about Liberal indoctrination than hard science,You're going to get this sort of stuff.

On a side note....Here in MN the best way to smoke out any LIBERALS in the area is to:
At the mention of Paul Wellstones name,State that the sawed off little commie should have been encased in glass and put next to Lenin in Russia.

This usually results in any Liberals either running away in a HUFF or spitting and sputtering Democrat propaganda.

But in November 2003, the NTSB blamed the two pilots of Wellstone's plane, Richard Conry and Michael Guess, for the crash. The pilots flew too high and too fast when they began a left turn toward the runway, then let it slow to dangerous levels, the NTSB said...

Controlled flight into terrain/pilot error is the single most common cause of private plane crashes. But because Wellstone was on board, this explanation is impossible. Suuuuure.

I see no reason not to presume that the quote is completely fraudulent. I haven't seen the GOP end up with supermajorities in both houses of Congress in the last year due to scared Democratic members switching parties.

The pilots failed the first and most important rule of flying:

NEVER LET THE BODY OF YOUR PLANE TOUCH ITS SHADOW.

If he was murdered the good guys are still way behind in the count.

Plus, this guy mentions a bunch of people who died when the dems were in the white house. what a dope!

Psst, Liberal Black Helicopter Types -- the Bush Administration has disguised voting booths as public toilets. For the 2004 election, make sure you put your ballots in a public toilet rather than those phoney booths that all the ill-informed sheep will be voting in!

You should have read some of the replies to that (presumably long-since banned) DU poster. Most of the DUmpster denizens loved Wellstoneapalooza, and to this day most of them believe that Drudge and the "conservative media" spun the story to benefit President Bush. Just like lots of them still firmly believe that the administration had him murdered.

Given that it's from Ruppert, I quite agree. On the other hand, I find it quite plausible that Baghdad Jim McDermott would utter those words.

It's enough to have conspiracy wackos on the internet. But to find them in Congress, as well, is a bit shocking...
