Wow!! So, in other words, if the election were held today and the President was not allowed to campaign, the Democrats might stand a chance.

When the STHF, I think Bush will solidly take out John F'n Sandinista Fonda loving gun grabbing, abortloving, Massachusetts elitist Commie Kerry.

Kerry has not gotten much discussion nationally, yet. We'll check back later..

It is so hard for me to understand how any of these anti-American lying scumbag democrats could muster 42% of the vote in THIS country...in France or Russia, I could understand...but in THIS country....God help us.

He is also the top choice among all Democrats to win the party's Presidential nomination. Actually Kerry is the Dems second choice.
Three weeks ago Dean looked like a shoe-in as Kerry was tanking.
Strings were pulled behind the scenes(Dean calls it dirty tricks) to weaken Dean by spreading the "electability" issue.

This is Rasmussen so I'd have to question his conclusion as he totally blew it in 2000. I understand he has changed his polling methods but nevertheless, I'd say his polling needs to be taken with a grain of salt at this point.

Anf the pollsters who picked Dean to win Iowa were right too? Give it a break and watch the changing numbers in favor of Edwards in the South, then watch the Dems in the dillema game self destruct.
GW has yet to fight back, and when he does, Kerry will begin his decline like a bowlling ball thrown from the top of the Mt. Hood.

Mark Steyn had a great take on this today. This polling is all a bunch of crap.

Dean, Dean, he's our man, if he can't do it, Kerry can.
Kerry, Kerry, he's our man, if he can't do it, Edwards can.
Edwards, Edwards, he's our man, if he can do it, Clark can.
Clark, Clark, he's our man, if he can't do it, Hillary can.
Hillary, Hillary, he's our man.

Senator John Kerry has pulled to within three points of George W. Bush in the RasmussenCan't be. I read only last week that 52% did not want Bush re-elected and was losing to virtually any Dem nominee.
In other words, the only poll that counts is the one on election day.
To: Momaw Nadon
The polling data can be interpreted much better if viewed through the special glasses provided by the DNC?
To: Momaw Nadon
Remember Democrats love the candidates they don't know. It's easy to project everything you like on a faceless nobody. That's why people like Clark, Clinton, etc can come out of nowhere and at first be real popular.

Kerry has had a great two weeks. It shows that Election 2004 will be a close fight to the finish.

This could be interpreted another way. Since Newsweek said Kerry now led Bush just three days ago, we could say that now "Kerry has fallen behind Bush" and is sinking fast.
