Cong. Johnson is a good guy who gets very favorable press. My only questions is where has he been on this issue? I read the Dallas Morning Fishwrap every day and have yet to see where he's uttered a peep about the illegals and his district is just crawling with them. It's also interesting to note that one main reason that the Dallas Morning News is such a great cheerleader for all those "downtrodden" illegals is that it's also BREAKING FEDERAL LAW by having illegals working in one of their processing plants.

OK, call me cynical. But Johnson and Tancredo have absolutely the best of both worlds, politically speaking.
Hoorah Hoorah, they are against Illegal Immigration and taking a brave stance against their President. They doubtless also support apple pie and legitimate motherhood. However, unless a miracle were to occur and they got a substantial minority among their Republican Bretheren to supply develop enough testosterone to join them, this issue is going nowhere fast, or so it seems to be.
This is going to take a grass-roots peasant revolt.
