Yes, the kid backs you up, says they're not like anyone else. Amazingly (I mean, I do have an 18 year old kid! And a musically aware hubby!) I never heard of them before all this grammy-chatter started.
We like The White Stripes, a hubby discovery, who did have one pretty big hit song, which I am just now informed won for best rock song, I think they'll perform tonight.

Are you familier with Avril Lavigne?? She and her band and her tunes are really good, and the only thing worthwhile in the list above. That girl Avril has something. Really!The question should be "Are YOU familiar with Avril Lavigne" and her multi-colored sex bracelets?
Her music may be "good," but I don't think we should be singing her praises unless you want your daughters to model after her.

Gawd, Paula looks terrible, couldn't she find a dress in her size?? She is probably about a size zero. Just short of 5 foot tall and probably not even 100 lbs. Very sweet though.
