Dream on, Burke.LOL

When I was 35,I looked like a young 20.

But now, with silver hair, decades hence, I couldn't pass for 40,if I tried. LOL

OTOH, I look younger than that idiot woman they caught today, for being a spy and she's 40.

In Egypt Panagiotakopulu combed the workers'-village site in Amarna, where the builders of the tombs of Egyptian kings Tutankhamun and Akhenaton lived.

That's a long commute from Amarna to the Valley of the King's, where Tut was buried. As for Akhenaton, his tomb has not been found.

Yes. That's the reason why these discoveries have raised such excitement. It's evidence that trade existed between Egypt and the Americas that early.

It was in one of those books you recommended to me that the plague was traced to Africa, to an ancient seaport on the north-east side of Africa. Supposedly it's been uninhabited since the time of the first wave of the Black Death spread through the Middle East, seriously weakening both the Roman and Persian Empires and opening the way for Islam to add its own special zest to the mix of tragedy of the region. Do you remember which book this was?

"Aren't the coca (Erythroxylum coca) and tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) plants indigenous to the New World? "

Yes. They've looked in the middle-east for alternative plants but have found none that fit the bill.

Sorry, no. To many books and to little memory.

Salk.... but the polio vaccine used now wasn't developed by him. Live vaccine or dead vaccine - that was the debate. I wish I could remember the other guy's name ... it is rather similar to Salk.
Salk's Institute today does bogus research regarding "congenital homosexuality," and Salk himself says he is a mutated (evolved) higher form of human life than most of us.....
