David Kopel does a scenario of how the United Nations is going
after the right to bear arms and self defense in the United States.
The United Nations blatantly says their treaties and international
laws take precendent over the Constitution. 6 Comments
If you need any more evidence that the United Nations is a disgusting, morally bankrupt waste of money for the United States, turn on Fox News and watch as Hugo Chavez rants and raves to the General Assembly. Unbelievably vile.
UPDATE at 9/20/06 8:39:15 am:
The UN just gave this creature a big round of applause, after he finished his speech by calling President Bush the devil and said he smelled sulfur in the room.
UPDATE at 9/20/06 8:46:19 am:
He held up a book by Noam Chomsky. Surprise.
UPDATE at 9/20/06 8:49:22 am:
After watching that evil performance, Im not only angry at the UN and Chavez. Whats happened to Americas resolve? Why is this man allowed to say these kinds of things on American soil?

note: without a border fence and border security soon this evil little nut case and the commies in Mexico will over run the southern border with millions of illegals and it's your a##'s on the line for their final solution... Blog Reaction Roundup. The Commies at CounterPunch have also dutifully supplied a transcription.
Almost from the first days of this blog, I have noted the continuing scandal of the United Nations peacekeeping efforts and their chronic sexual abuse of female refugees, many of them young girls. Despite over two years of these stories, the UN still has done nothing to purge itself of the disgusting practices of sexual exploitation and extortion. The BBC reports today that yet another peacekeeping mission has turned itself into a pimping expedition:
Children have been subjected to rape and prostitution by United Nations peacekeepers in Haiti and Liberia, a BBC investigation has found.
Girls have told of regular encounters with soldiers where sex is demanded in return for food or money.
A senior official with the organisation has accepted the claims are credible.
Credible? Try inevitable. With its lack of top-down discipline and a political structure that guards against accountability, no one should expect any different result. Despite physical evidence of these rapes and molestations, the UN has done nothing to punish those responsible, instead shipping the accused back home to their countries and ignoring the victims.

TEN YEARS AGO ON INSTAPUNDIT: I DONT KNOW WHATS MORE UPSETTING: That U.N. officers apparently ran a sex-slave ring in Bosnia, that the U.N. higher-ups managed to shut down the investigation, or that the Washington Post put the story on page A17. And where was Amnesty International?
