Lots of "bragging" about the absolute might of our nation here in the last year. Perhaps we had better understand the true source of our stature:
"Psa 20:7 Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God."
Equipment and manpower will not do the job. Never did, never will. We need to understand that if an enemy bows before us it is really our God Who has brought his knees to the bending position.

I just saw your thread after TEXOKIE pinged me to it. It gives me 'shivers' to read it, but good ones! Others have written to the Troop Prayer thread that they could 'feel' the prayers, and I hope they all do.

If ONLY we could fully fathom the complete truth of that. For those that are frustrated that they cannot do more regarding the situation in Iraq, I would recommend prayer. It is truly the most powerful weapon that these soldiers will ever be equipped with. Well said!

Wow. That sent chills up my spine. We are so blessed as a nation.
If you don't can I save the picture to html and your words too, so I can re-use it and pay tribute to our patriots?

I have enjoyed this to no end. Thanks.

And Jesus said: "Suffer the littel children to come unto Me." and "The kingdom of God is full of like unto these."
That little one is precious, homeschool him.

Sadly, that cherub is not mine. The youngest of my three is now age 18 and in college.
I still work with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts at the District level, so I have nearly 2,000 sons from age 7 through 18 to worry over now and bring up right.

Might we do with a bit of faith, found this while searching for something else.
