Here's a shocker: Chris Matthews and Howard Fineman thought the president was STRONG and showed a lot of humility tonight.

A splendid performance by the Prez. He stands on his commitment to bring freedom to Iraq and thereby ensure the freedom and safety of the US and the world. Can you even imagine wimpy Kerry making such a speech?!

Remember that old Hefty bag commercial? Bush is HEFTY-HEFTY-HEFTY. Kerry is WIMPY-WIMPY-WIMPY!!!

Yeah and these MORONS can vote. C-Span has become the favorite stalking ground for DNC "seminar callers". I quit watching it because of the constant "shills".

When the first reporter asked if the President felt responsible for 9-11 I almost kicked my TV in!
It took the President several follow up questions to answer correctly, which was Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the 9-11.
Personally, I did not think he did that well! His opening statement was on target, he seemed to be hesitant on some of the questions.

Exactly. Half the press conference was on this silliness. Grown ups don't wring their hands about these things and neither will the swing voters.

did our boy seem a little unfocused?

Nope.

Kerry staffers - sorry, journalists actually asked Dubya if he felt responsible for 9/11. He dithered a little, as anyone would under an onslaught like that, but he pulled through. Very focused.

If Bush apologized the media and left would take it as an admission of guilt and force him to resign and probably face charges from the international courts.

Whoever said lefties were Americans? you could probably find more pro American sympathy in a palestinian funeral parade than in the hearts of some lefties in the US

What is this obsession with libs about apologizing for things?

it was established in the liberal media during the monica years and the campaign finance scandal that there is no offense which can be committed by a liberal that is not exonerated by an apology. when dick clarke (also, oddly, with a stain on his blue gap jumper) apologized in order to sell his book, it very much impressed the liberal press.
