The next time the press asks The President for an apology for 9-11 he needs to stair the reporter in the eye, pause and say very defiantly; "The only person that should apologize for the tragedy of 9-11 is Osama Bin Laden, and since he is unlikely to so so, we will hold him solely responsible". "Next question please!"

They didnt lay a glove on him. What is this obsession with libs about apologizing for things?

They wanted the President to 'take responsibility' for the attacks. He put it squarely where it belongs, in the lap of Osama bin Laden and the fanatics who drove the planes into the WTC, the Pentagon and the countryside of PA! The reason there were so many similar questions; trying to make him say 'I'm sorry' to the families and to the country is because they each wanted to be the one to stand up on their networks and claim that it was THEIR brilliant question that finally 'broke' President Bush and made him see the error of his ways in not taking responsibility and grovelling before the families of those who died on Sept. 11, and the families of those military people who have died in Afghanistan and Iraq.

They just flat don't like him and look for every opportunity to get one over on him. He wasn't having any of it last night, and I was SO proud of him!

His opening statement was on target, he seemed to be hesitant on some of the questions.

First, 95% of viewers only watched the opening remarks. Second, you'd hesitate too if you were aked stupid question after stupid question about accepting blame.

Rush is making the point that these 5 similar questions last night were a coordinated attack by the media for the Kerry campaign so that they could say:

Pres. Bush had to apologize for letting the country down on Sept. 11th 2001.

a coordinated attack by the media for the Kerry campaign

It does seem that way. Especially given the repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat of that blame question.

Just caught up on your post - good news. What a jerk that guy was - probably David Gregory.

By the way your comment was right on.
