Does anyone else find it ironic that a woman named, "GORE-LICK" worked in the Klintoon administration?

Then we need to make this a grassroots effort, lead on! I have emailed the commission and followed up with a letter to the editor. I can do one each day, we all can, and we can each recruit another to do the same. Concentrate on what we can do, not what we can't.

You know, the more I think of it, bear with me, the more I think she should stay. The longer she sits in that seat on the other side of the bench, the more partisan this looks. Anything out of her mouth from this point on will be scrutinized. Any credibility she had is now gone, which will spread to the entire commission.

Just talked to Sen. Arlen Specter and Sen. Rick Santorum's offices in Wash, DC, and asked the Pennsylvania's two Senators join the chorus of congresspeople who demand Gorelick immediately resign.
After all, we cannot have the slightest hint of impropriety on the 9/11 Commission, can we??

Sen. Santorum... maybe he will join. Specter, nah. Unless he wants to pander to the right due to the fact he is running a tight primary race here in Pennsylvania.

Then we have a win/win situation here, either way our mission is to expose the hypocrisy of blaming the blaming Bush liberals.

Just wanted to add a note on the F.I.S.A. that Gorelick referenced in her memo. It was enacted during the CARTER PRESIDENCY! Who could have guessed!

"FISA is the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which establishes a legal regime for "foreign intelligence" surveillance separate from ordinary law enforcement surveillance. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, Pub. L. No. 95- 511, 92 Stat. 1783 (codified as amended at 50 U.S.C. §§ 1801-1811, 1821-1829, 1841-1846, 1861-62)."

-more-

Several websites refer to Ms. Gorelick as one of 50 most influencial women in America. She's involved with most of the big lefty "non profits". This is a hand picked "hillary" hack. Here's some more from NPR:

CHITRA RAGAVAN TALKS WITH OUTGOING DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL JAMIE GORELICK

from Morning Edition, Thursday , March 13, 1997
.....about her three years at the Justice Department. She took over as second in command to Janet Reno when the department was in a mess after the Lani Guiner controversy and several scandals. One of her proudest accomplishments was implementing a comprehensive plan to deal with national emergencies like the Oklahoma City bombing. She resigned in January.

Something along the lines of:

"If you want to be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
Go for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you"

Sorry, I forgot the group, and I might not have the words right.

I had the misfortune to have Mr. Carter as Governor, and what we found was that many years after he moved on by lucking into highest office, many things he did while in Atlanta bore bitter and unexpected fruit.

I believe we are seeing more of the same, at a national level. God help us.

I agree. This commission is an absolute failure. It should be disbanded and reconvened after the November election. This miserable traitor, Jamie Gorelick and her "mafia" accomplice, Richard Ben-Veniste have made a mockery of these proceedings. Someone must have gotten to Ben-Veniste. He stopped wearing the "Don" type suits! As Richard Clarke's book now tumbles on down the Amazon.com list and his fifteen minutes of fame come to a forever end, so does the creditability of the 911 commission. The 911 victim survivers got just what they asked for and wanted, utter nonsense! They now look like the foolish morons they are! The commission was doomed from the start. With two absolute weaklings as Chairman and Vice Chairman, there is no one to control the politics of this useless exercise! Congress should destroy this current commission right now. And....someone should be hung for letting both Richard Ben-Veniste and Jamie Gorelick onto the commission. Shame on America for letting this outrage occur!
