I would rather have no assembly instructions than assembly instructions written in Chinese.

Yes, there were dinosaurs on the Ark.
They were babies, as were most of the rest of the animals.

They would have been able to fit quite a lot of small baby creatures into the Ark. Not all full grown animals would have fit. The Bible states there were two of every kind, and seven of clean type (kosher to eat type like sheep and cattle).

And just because they were on the Ark, doesn't mean they didn't go extinct later from not being able to adapt to the climate change after the flood.

I hear ya. I liked it on E. Broad as well. Neat place and stuff. New place is a little different, but still a very cool place. Times change, life goes on...lol.

I think the new one is much nicer. The only thing I don't like is the distance from one exhibit to the next. Also, they added a "Treasure Hunt" and we literally spent hours in that one exhibit. It's definitely designed so you have to come back several times to see the everything.

The one thing that ticks me off about COSI is how they tried to push the "Free COSI" (cough-cough-gag) levy on Franklin County taxpayers a few months ago. I thought that was wrong and it winded up being a big flop.

Also, where did all the milk needed to nurse the baby mammals come from?

The only thing I don't like is the distance from one exhibit to the next.

My husband and kids and I have talked about this at length many times, especially before the last vote on the issue. What was great was the organized chaos at the old location. Just as soon as you finished one exhibit, there was another right in front of your nose! There was an energy about the place.

The volunteers were great! Teens loved to volunteer their time at the old COSI! Many needed to put in service hours for their schools and COSI was a great place to do it. Not so any more!

I practically raised my kids at the old COSI. We were there at least once a month for a long time. I used to take my Girl Scouts on overnights there. It was always a blast! Exhausting but fun!

The new COSI just doesn't have the appeal of the old one. We've been several times. My (now) teenagers don't like the atmosphere there enough to volunteer, but it was something they always dreamed about doing when they were younger.

Somehow, the passion for it is all wrong. I think they could do a lot to jazz it up, and give it the feel of the old one to a degree. Just my personal opinion: ever since Kathryn Sullivan came on board, it has steadily gone down hill.

Going to COSI used to be the greatest thrill of any kid, but ask them now, and you'll find that they aren't anywhere as excited as they used to be. I'm glad my kids still have their memories! I wish we could make better ones for the kids now.

'And God remembered Noah.'

It says little, but also much.

Who says they were required to nurse?
They could have already been weened.
Some people suspect that while on the Ark most of the animals were in a sort of deep hybernation and required little help from Noah in regards to feeding and care.

OK I'll go along with that, for now.

Ever had a pet cat? Kittens? I didn't think so. Without mama cat to train the kittens to hunt, they'd starve in the wild. In most cases weened mammals (especially predators) are still pretty much helpless.

Try again.

Biblical source please? Saying "some people say" doesn't cut it. "Some people say" the Bible is a load of steaming crap. Therefore, just because "some people say" it clearly doesn't make it true...

Noah was a baby? That was your answer to my request for a Biblical reference for the animals being babies. Do try to stay on point...

The dinosaurs constructed of real bones

I seriously doubt this. SOP is to make exact duplicates from synthetics to be used in the reconstruction. The 'actual' fossilized bones are far too valuable to be placed in the hands of stage hands to be assembled. We're not talking about a Revell model kit here.

Some people say life evolved from nothing.
Just because some people say it doesn't make it true.
Show me some proof.
