Who is/was/is Andy Kaufman? Well, he wasn't one of our better wrestlers.
To: lavrenti
Having grown up in the artistically barren Houston area in Andy's "prime" I had the opportunity to develop my own sense of humor. I find myself gravitating to the more absurd and/or honest comedy. Kaufmann, Monty Python, Drew Carry, Dave Attell, Louis Black, Eddie Izzard (though my extreme conservative friends find him appalling since he's a transvestite he's incredibly funny), Chris Rock (sure he curses allot, but that's his background) MadTV, Conan O'Brien, and CNN (again absurdly funny since I don't quite get them)

If the info on that death certificate is correct there is no record of it in the SSA death master file.

Though the man in the picture seems firmly behind the women's movement, I do not think he is Kaufman. Why still hide your face in a rubber mask if you are claiming to have come back?

That was the episode with Hillary and Bill Shatner, right?Hillary dancing on a real airplane wing? No way. But they filled it with rebar and concrete, and replaced it three times. No prob. If it were made today, CGI would simplify all that.

I say he's really dead. How could somebody that creative just stop working for 20 years? Also, note this line:
He has subjected himself to medical examination and submitted DNA, hair, blood and fingerprint samples to the auditors. Ernst & Young
None of that makes sense! Why check DNA and fingerprints? Why check "hair and blood" - it's the same DNA. And the big tipoff - who would you go to Ernst and Young for that? Why not go to a lab?

It would be Kaufman's style to try and board an airplane, dressed as a very heavily armed "terrorist". He'd have knives, toenail clippers, spoons, salad tongs, cheese graters, rosary beads, rabbits' feet, a star of david, a taser, a pop-up book, etc., and they'd all be stuffed in a long trenchcoat or in his pants.

I thought her pantsuit was made of that same heat wicking material as that countertop TV bacon defroster.

Ernst & Young Disclaimer
I don't know how the press release people got the name Ernst & Young, but that's not the auditor we used to do the DNA testing. They are much too reputable to get involved in this kind of sordid task, much akin to parenthood testing.
Also, it wasn't ABC News that interviewed me. It was some British entertainment mag -- apparently I'm huge over there.

Like I said earlier, if the info on that death certificate is accurate as far as birthdate and ssan and such, there is no record of it in the social security admin master death file list.Hoax, maybe ,then again.......
