CRAWFORD, Texas — President Bush (search) suffered cuts and bruises early Saturday afternoon when he fell while mountain biking on his ranch, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said.

Bush was on the 16th mile of a 17-mile ride when he fell, Duffy said. He was riding with a military aide, members of the Secret Service (search) and his personal physician, Dr. Richard Tubbs.

"He had minor abrasions and scratches on his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees," Duffy said. "Dr. Tubbs, who was with him, cleaned his scratches, said he was fine. The Secret Service offered to drive him back to the house. He declined and finished his ride."

I'll say he's nice looking. Can't say ummy, since he's almost old enough to be my dad. Just like I could never say that Mel Gibson is sexy or Sean Connery... Ah! Sean Connery is still hot.

Notice Bush isn't blaming a Secret Service agent for knocking him down.

Why would he? He knows that no matter what, IT IS ALL BUSH'S FAULT!

Kerry's $7000 were bought with ketchup money! He could hardly afford a car before he married Mrs. Heinz.

"In the amount of time it takes to say, "John Efin Kerry", GW suffered more serious injuries than sKerry did during 4 months in Vietnam!"

This is definitely the QUOTE OF THE DAY!!!

Gee, I've never fallen from a bike. (Except the time I hit the patch of ice, the time I tried to turn on the super-slick walkway, the time I forgot to loosen the toe-straps when I came to a stop -- even my dog laughed at that one.)

It shows who has character...and who doesn't.

It sure as he!! didn't take a bike spill for Dubya to show character!!

However, I have seen a daisy toting character in the recent past riding a bike!

I just want to know what kind of bike. Full Suspension, Hardtail, Single Speed? Specialized, GT, Gary Fisher, Santa Cruz,...?

I trail bike. Not EVEN true mountain biking. Most I have done so far is a feeble 22 miles. So I can identify sufficiently to comment that Bush mountain bikes 16 miles- He does not pose on asphalt with a $5000 one.

Well, I always like W a lot, but my estimation of him has jumped up another notch.

You're right. Actually, John F'in Kerry doesn't own a bicycle. It's the family's bike, you see.

Kerry was riding in Concord, MA (yep, we're talking bike roads in a city) and fell when his bike "hit a patch of sand" LOL

Wasn't it caused by the fact he turned into on coming traffic??

...since he's almost old enough to be my dad.

Well, if he was busy at about 15 and change he could be my dad, too...but I find him most pleasant to the eye.

sKerry, on the other hand, is a double bag special and his wife is an equal double bag screaming shrew. If only we could get them to prefer plastic over paper...

Which speaks volumes about the man, IMHO.

I've heard he got right back up and kicked some lib's behind. It's the cowboy in him.

I want pictures...
