Did not need to change my mind, I still believe in his vision and consider the Americans who oppose
him as nothing less than traitors. Not just traitors to America, which they are, but traitors to the hope
of mankind itself. They may have the freedom to say the hurtful things that encourage and strengthen
the enemies will, but that does not mean I have to treat them with any respect. I will not help them
pretend they are patriotic americans. They deserve nothing but contempt, if they exhibited similar
behavior in the tyrannical countries they are effectively supporting they would simply be shot.

American military forces in Iraq will operate under American command

Unlike what Clinton did (in places other than Iraq), or Kerry would do, which would be to have American military forces in Iraq operate under U.N. command. .

BIG difference.

But if Clinton were to walk into the situation now, he would abandon them there. Kerry would either abandon them, or abandon them to the U.N.

We believe that freedom can advance and change lives in the greater Middle East as it has advanced and changed lives in Asia, in Latin America, in Eastern Europe and Africa. We believe it is a tragedy of history that in the Middle East, which gave the world great gifts of law and science and faith, so many have been held back by lawless tyranny and fanaticism.

Bravo! We just don't hear this type of speech anymore. It's not PC.

"The speech..He sounded good."

He sure did. Confident and calm. What impressed me was the length and the POWER of the continuous ovation he received. I have never heard ANYBODY applauded for so long, so enthusiastically, or so gladly. The applause and cheering went on and on and on and on and on, and the band played one patriotic Sousa march after another. Sounded like the Fourth of July!
