Tax law forbids political activity by churches. Actually, I think the law blocks Churchs from helping Republicans. But the law must have a loophole for Dems, because I see Church buildings and Church services being used by Dems all the time.

Don't be too quick or presumptive to think this is obvious. IT IS NOT. Especially in the black community.
It is not unusual at all for 90% of our black brothers and sisters to go to church, sing, clap, shout and praise The Lord and then on the following Tuesday, walk into a voting booth and vote for a party and/or candidate who supports killing little babies and homosexual marriages. Why? Because they've been lied to by the Dim-o-rats for years who, as MLK Jr. said: "They promise us everything and give us nothing." Yet they still vote straight party ticket. It's sad when we choose money (government money) over morality. And, there are many white folks with the same mentality; I was "Born a Democrat and I'll die a Democrat".
The sooner they do the latter, the better this nation will be. And no, I do not apologize for this statement.

That division has always been there. There will, however, never be a secession. They need our tax dollars.

"A month ago, Kerry hired a "director of religious outreach": Mara Vanderslice. The 29-year-old evangelical Christian, who has worked for church-based programs on international hunger and health, is on her first campaign."
Must be from a liberal denomination. This woman needs to be found and freeped with pics of aboerted babies.

I had a friend who was black and almost as conservative as me. We agreed on almost every major issue, from gun control to taxes to welfare to the size of government. He even supported restrictions on abortion to some extent. He also went to church every Sunday and then proudly pulled the lever for democRATs every election.

Did you ever ask him why? If so, what was his response? I'm dying to know.

Big time for that poor nation debt relief bunk (How can learn responsibility if you don't pay your bills!)
Also links to Dean on google with her name.
Wish I had her email, I would ask for the scripture she knows about being OJ to murder the unborn.

She (and that Liason woman on NPR) are giving the name "Mara" a bad reputation. That's my daughter's name.
Actually, "OJ to murder" might have been an unintentionally accurate phrase.
