Thank you so much my good friend...and thank you for the JH mega-ping!
I pray that such tributes...that such words...however inadequate, can pass on even a glimmer of the feelings I have in my heart for this great man.

He set the bar high and I am grateful that I was alive during his presidency. Yes he did...and it was a great blessing and high honor to have been priveleged to be alive to see it.

Each vote for Reagan was cast with great pride...and great hope. And it was a hope that was rewarded with happenings of tremendous consequence and good...the good Lord smiled down on Ronald Reagan and his faith and positive attitude and turned it all into reality for the entire world to see.

Couldn't agree with you more Betty...and really tried to state as much in the full tribute...
In some ways I feel as though a sterling light, a great shining beacon on a hill has gone out...even though his administration ended years ago. Despite that, his influence has remained...and it is now up to us to ensure it continues.

President Ronald Reagan inspired Americans across the political spectrum by his words and example. He demonstrated his faith in God, the people, and the nation toward the purposes of freedom and prosperity.
May the rekindled memories at his passing continue to inspire millions.
I've been viewing the quotes and pictures for the past couple of hours, feeling sad that he has passed, but more joyful that God blessed us with his leadership and wisdom.
