It sure is. Peggy says the media's gonna blow by Friday night. They have to put a cork in it all week.

Oh I love that she has a sense of humor about this. I've been cracking jokes around here all weekend.. it feels like a member of the family is lost, but since I didn't know him personally I found it easier to remember funny moments. Thanks, Peggy!

I don't remember her part of Woodstock. I do remember, now that you brought it up, somebody elses "Gov. of CA, Ronald Ray Gun" comment.

I was hoping Matt would have Peggy Noonan on. She is something special.

World orders are a historical era identifier.

the Cold War was a world order.

Reagan brought around the collapse of the USSR, Thus bringing a new world order.

The tin foil alert people have hijacked the term to apply to the tri lateralists and such.

Watch her be exactly right.. it'll be hysterical. ABC will decide to televise Kerry's postponed fundraiser concert free in prime time... the NYT will promote Maureen Dowd... who knows how it will manifest itself.

I guess so many of us are used to dealing with peoples' pseudo faces so it's different to see a real person. :)

If Matt plays the "touch the face of God" speech it will make me cry. I cry every time I hear it.

There's no way there could be an open casket. No way there should be that intrusion of privacy even if his remains were in some way similiar to the strong and handsome man we so lovingly remember.

We will remember him as he was.

Peggy is right, before the end of the week the libs will blow! Eleanor clift already did, early this morning on FOXNews. Dripping with disdain, even her kinder words had a not so subtle insult attached. I loved it! There's no better way to measure a person than by their ungraciousness.

"Meanspirited"

That word will take on new meaning this week as democrats struggle to conceal their inner selves.

not going be open casket

Well, he must have been in really rough shape, and the family feels it's better to remember him as he was.

Ms. Noonan comes across to me as a "romantic", Heathcliffe, Mansions, Moores. The inverse of Sylvia Plath.

I remember the night of the 1980 election. I was working on my anti-SALTII speech for my Public Spraking class in college the next day.

Yep. Like it or not, Clinton earned that spot. He hasn't earned much else, but a big state funeral invitation is in order. On another thread, people were wondering if Hillary would have any couth and not draw attention to herself.
