If the president had not dealt with Iraq and these threats were coming in, the leftists would be screaming that the president focused on the wrong country.
As it is, they are screaming we aren't paying enough attention to North Korea and Iran forgetting that Iran doesn't have a fully operational nuclear warhead yet.
The leftists would prefer that we wait until a country has fully functional nuclear warheads aimed at our country. They think this is a way to avoid war altogether, not understanding that some country will use it someday.

This is a case for "DICK TRACY"

Can't these nitwits get it straight? We'll just have to pass some resolutions and negotiate. That'll stop 'em! I feel safer already...

And yet the liberals still bash the likes of the NYPD and the NYFD for doing their jobs impeccably.
To: Smogger
Perhaps we should "NUKE" them first.

If Bush repeats the word "imminent", the press will explode.

Perhaps we should "NUKE" them first. If we really expect them to nuke us.. then we certainly should. But we won't. Question is.... if they nuke say Washington.... then what happens? Who pulls the trigger, and where do they aim it? I think these guys can destroy us because we won't lob indiscriminate nukes.

In an alternate universe:
The UN added that terrorist groups could likely obtain nuclear material with the help of corrupt governments like Syria's, North Korea's, and Iraq's.

His words echo repeated warnings by Tony Blair of the danger posed by an alliance between rogue states and terrorist groups such as al Qaeda.Mohammed al Baradei, you're no Tony Blair and you're definitely no President Bush. Some of us figured out the ties between rogue states and terrorist groups years ago. With Iraq and al Qaeda the shoe fits perfect.

What would be the targets?
There is no application of nuclear power that would do anything but stimulate terrorism.
