With less than four years in the Senate and no other public service, John Edwards is the least experienced major-party candidate for President or Vice President we've had in the last century; possibly the least experienced in our history. At this time of war, can we really afford to have a novice leader one heartbeat away from being Commander in Chief?

I like it - a simple and to the point slogan. Even non news junkies should be able to get it.

I think he's a better pick for VP than Kerry is for President.

Many voters don't think about issues at all, and women have the right to vote.

So, in order to win the election, choose the best looking candidate.

I think that was the strategy.

What's wrong with Lawyers?

this particular lawyer and his ilk are the reason that your health insurance is so high.

Deadwards had already gotten stale by the end of the primaries. He will not help Kerry that much after the bump wears off.

Can someone tell me why, when I look at a picture of John Edwards, I hear Little Richard singing "I'm So Pretty"?

You are right if you think that I missed the humor in the assertion that you still think Hilary is/will be the VP choice. Were you mocking the very type I thought you represented? That is funny.

I was particularly led to think you were a super-serious nerf from that piece on your ID page about the painting. Maybe that was supposed to be humor too?!

I must be out of my league.

NOtice that Edwards has this "aw shucks" style or maybe it would be better described as a Gomer Pyle "Goooolllllly" style. Shazaaaammm. Then there people done you wrong, so you got to come up for some big time cas hin your verdict so things can be set right.

I rfecall hearing Edwards kicking off his presidential campaign. He kept saying "I want to be a CHAMPION for the little guy, the blah blah blah----."

He sounded so absurd with this "Champion" stuff and he had such a tin ear for how stupid it was.

Something like that. Actually, I was surprised myself that someone else hadn't beaten me to the always present they're-tricking-us idea. I admit I should have left a clue or two it was supposed to be humor. Oh, well...
