Was Mujahid Abdulquaadir Menepta the man that attempted to post bail for Moussaoui's roomate?
If you don't feel comfortable giving a name for the man that bailed out the roomate, has your investigation eliminated Menepta, Moussaoui's OKC associate?

I would love to know the man's name--if I did, I would have published it. I found this information on the Congressional 9-11 investigative report on page 322. Congress redacted the name I suppose to protect the guilty. The DOJ in Washington DC declined to confirm where the "overseas recruiter" was residing in the summer of 2003 when the Congressional report was issued. We should get the name if we can. This guy was the target of an Oklahoma City FBI full field investigation. He lived or lives in my hometown.

The report also disclosed that a man serving as a recruiting vice-president for the Palestinian organization, al-Fatah, was a friend of a man arrested with Moussaoui, Hussein al-Attas. El-Attas was Moussaoui's Oklahoma roommate. The friend traveled to the Twin Cities after the arrests and sought to post bond for el-Attas. The man posting bond was not identified in the report, but had previously been identified as Abdulqaadir Menepta; he was later jailed on a gun charge.

Without identifying him, the report said the man posting bond also was a "close associate" of an unidentified Imam at a U.S. Islamic Center attended by two of the hijackers. The location of the center was also redacted.
