A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 7.28.04
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov ^ | July 28, 2004 | GretchenM

Down home at the ranch, President Bush (and presumably also, Mrs. Bush) continues to vacation. National Security Advisor Condi Rice hitched a ride on into town from the guest house at Prairie Chapel Ranch, providing photographic relief for the masses inundated with dem images and "rhetoric." Barney also makes an appearance in this very limited edition of the Dose @ Sanity Island.

Please feel free to post any of your favorite photos due to the dearth of items available today.

I must say I think it was wise, and gracious, of Mr. Bush to give the dems their week in the sun for that may be all they get, by taking his working vacation now.

(I'm assuming there won't be many, if any pics from today).

Ah, but there should be tarmac and South Lawn photos since President and Mrs Bush are scheduled to return to the White House this evening. Woo hoo!

Wow, what a beautiful card and a keeper for sure. Thanks!!!

I have been mainly lurking as our computer is quite slow at home and at work it is so busy that I don't have much time to participate in the discussions. Today, however, it is slow and I am glad you wrote--

to you and to all--a democrat reporter today told me that the reason the blacks don't trust the republicans was because the republicans fought the civil rights acts of 1965-- the one that President Johnson sign. I thought that the republicans pushed for it--would you know or anyone out there know. I have googled searched and so far have not yet figured out if the congress was republican led or if they were the opposers.

A larger majority of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats (including our President's father).

The biggest opposition came from southern Democrats........such as algor's father.

Rush may have a link to the data, or I'm sure someone here on FR does........I just don't know who....

I'm glad you liked it, my friend! Thank you for the pictures of our President you posted, sweet Spotsy! I loved them!

Here is another one with the same little girl, with our compassionate, loving President listening intently to every word she says:

GOD BLESS YOU, SPOTSY!

Any (and all -- smile) W and family photos you have and would like to post, I'd be glad to see and save. Thanks.

It's been like living through political Prohibition this week.

Did you hear John Edwards shamelessly steal three Pubbie quotes in his speech last night, trying to make them part of their platform? < gack > They are hollow at the core.
