The libs are saying this was his best speech ever. I believe them....but then, the bar was so low. The man is a shape-shifting fraudulent bore.

If it aint broke, don't fix it.There are a few things "broke". Try the borders and the public schools for a start. Glenn Beck had substitutes on for him yesterday on the radio. This one guy GRILLED Asa Hutchinson on the borders and the damage to California's economy.
Boy, has Asa turned into a witless fool!

The liberal media is just ticked that Kerry didn't come right out and say he'd withdraw all of our overseas troops 24 hours after assuming office.
The media will only give Lurch lip service during this campaign. Its heart is with the Klintoons who don't want Kerry to win.
The media will patiently wait out either Bush or Kerry for four years, biding its time till Her Heinous makes her move.

Mr. Kerry spoke confidently and eloquently I thought he looked nervous, agitated, and sweaty.

I noticed in his 'movie' that he glossed over his anti-war activity, more or less sanitizing it. I took away from it that he was very proud of his anti-war activities, but he failed to mention that he called our brothers, husbands, uncles and cousins baby killers and rapist.
I noted some things missing, that he is a gun control nut, and is going to declare a moratorium on the federal death penalty with an EO.

The New York Times suggested that Kerry may be overplaying his "few months in service overseas" at the expense of ignoring other elements of his resume. Odd to see something so evident and true being offered by the Times.

According to the Washington Post, Kerry did not say anything about freeing the Afghan or Iraqi people, or helping either nation toward democracy; he didn't define "the job" still to be done in Iraq; and he didn't say that troops will be needed in Iraq for a long time.I didn't waste my time watching Effin' Kerry last night. Instead, I chose to tune in to C-Span 2 where they were airing Dubya's 2000 acceptance speech. He never had to mention *Crinton or Altoast but the crowd knew who he was referring to when he spoke.
All that maybe left this time around is cleanup on aisle lib...

Kerry is basically saying, "if America is nuked, I will go after the enemy, but only if the intelligence is perfect".

So I'm not alone here in thinking the Democrats are trying to pretend they're Republicans this election.
Kerry is suddenly claiming that he is the "optimist", he's now running on national defense and pre-emption, and he's even making the absurd claim that he will cut taxes.
Remember how the Democrats were saying that they lost in 2002 because they weren't their true liberal selves..?
Apparently they've now decided that the problem was they were too much themselves!
The most absurd part of his speech was when he had a "message" for President Bush - to not be divisive!
What really just amazes me about the Democrats is that they have spent the last 3 and a half years dividing America, they are the ones who have refused to unite, even in the face of war and terrorism, and then they say Bush isn't a uniter! You can lead a jackass to water, but you can't make it drink. That's certainly not President Bush's fault!
And now they want Bush to stop being so mean!?!
Is anyone fooled by this?
I hope the GOP fully takes advantage of this Democrat bait-and-switch and effectively points out 1) Democrats run away from who they really are when they're running for election, and 2) once elected they revert back and govern exactly opposite from what they campaigned on.
While we may be pissed that Democrats are running as Republicans, at least we can take comfort in the fact that liberalism is losing.

Kerry delivered his speech better than expected, so the media is gaga over how the speech was delivered, not what was said. Par for the course....it's always style points over substance.
Give it a few days, common sense will return.

And now they want Bush to stop being so mean!?! Is anyone fooled by this? Only about 50 million people. That's why the dems keep lying. If they laid out their true agenda, they'd get destroyed on Election Day.

Did anyone note a Democrat delegate that was *not* a public school teacher?

but those newspapers also faulted Kerry's speech for failing to clarify how he would lead the nation. ...Because he does not have the remotest clue. He is "Not Bush", and that's the one trick he knows, other than a daily press release which amounts to a Yorkshire Terrier nipping Bush's ankle.
