HILLARY'S ADVICE TO PREZ
NY Post ^ | 7/31

July 31, 2004 -- BOSTON — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton warned President Bush against evoking too many 9/11 images in his re-election campaign and the GOP convention in New York or Americans would reject him as an "exploiter." Clinton said that while Bush, as commander in chief, is entitled to bring up and talk about the 9/11 terror attacks, relying on it too heavily will invite criticism and ultimately backfire.

"It has to be done in a careful way or people will think he's exploiting it," said Clinton in an interview with The Post at the end of the Democratic convention.

"He is the president, so he has a right to bring it up, but if he's not careful, people will think he's exploiting it" for partisan advantage, said Clinton.

Phototropic (Kyuss)

Under light, that I have never seen
Go to the light, reach up to the beam
Under light, under light
Reach up to the sun or you can run
Found the roof, the smallness of it all
Found the roof, you will never fall
You'll never...

Hillary -- what a flaming, gaping A**HOLE! Just stick to covering up murders, and throwing ashtrays and lamps at your feeble husband.

Was one of Hillary's parents a bunny rabbit? She looked almost like a bunny rabbit at the convention.

"LOL. Kerry is trying to wind back the clock to 9/10. If Bush lets him get away with it, he will lose. We can't count on the Sheeple to remember on their own."

Heck - I thought Kerry was trying to turn back the clock to 1968!

Bush doesn't need to talk about 9/11 too much I don't think. In his movie clip/speech show the Twin Towers and the hustle and bustle of Wall Street. Show the planes just BEFORE they hit the towers and allude to how this changed everything. Bring up that "Yes, terrorists had attacked us before (Twin Towers bombing, 199?, Embassy Bombings, Cole Attack), but those Attacks didn't cause us to change our outlook on terrorism....

Then show a picture of a quiet and dusty and closed Wall Street and a smoke-filled horizon of Manhatten. Then show a clip of Bush standing on the rubble with his bullhorn with the firefighters. And show a clip of him vowing to bring the economy back, which was already on a downturn as he had pointed out in the 2000 campaign. And that's it for the 9/11 symbols, etc. THEN Bush gets to talk about all that he has done since 9/11, but always using 9/11 as the framework.

Then bring up images of the captured and deceased al Queda Leaders, talk about the progress in Afghansistan and Iraq. Talk about the increased success with security in the U.S. Talk about the rebounding economy. Talk about the quick work of the 9/11 commission and praising them for their work. (BTW - didn't Bush hand-pick this group of people? Wasn't this commission supposed to whitewash it all because they were handpicked patsies?)

Talk about what he has already done right after 9/11 that is in line with what the commission recommends; such as creating one person to oversee all intelligence - the Homeland Security Department is a big step in that direction. Breaking down some of the barriers between agencies that have arisen due to legislation. Talk about already restoring 27(?) airbases to rapid response that in the 1990s had been decommissioned.

Yep. The Democrats have no ground to gain as far as National Security issues go, they've been lackidaisical as far as National Security goes. If the Democrats told Bush to cease and desist, it defangs Bush in that regard, while the Democrats pretend to care one whit about security from here to November. Bush is CIC, it is his job to remind us and continue the work of the people.

Our job is not begun but we are not meant to desist from it either. There's something like that in "The Sayings Of The Fathers." We are sworn to remember evil by its right name and fight it wherever it is our sworn duty to wipe it out. Its the struggle between good and evil and has been waged since the beginning of time and God is not neutral between them. Hillary like the rest of the Democrats, is a moral relativist. So yes, I do see moral absolutes, black and white in the landscape on which we are fighting. We owe it to the innocent victims of 9/11 to recall their memory every year for a blessing. God Bless America.

There was a choice between "soon" and "not soon enough". I think it's safe to say the Democrats are sitting in the "not soon enough" camp. Kerry and the Democrats would rather opt to sit on his hands and wait to be attacked, rather than go with pre-emption. 9/11 should have taught the Democrats not to take the first option.

Exactly. Bringing up 9/11 before the public is necessary in order to remind the American people that John F*ckin's posture of inaction WILL get us all killed. Which is exactly why Hillary doesn't want President Bush to use the one most powerful issue in his arsenal since it reminds people of the President's qualities as a leader and as a human being. For the Hate Bush crowd, that's verboten. There's nothing wrong with being partisan and if I may be permitted to say so, one of the fundamental problems with our national life is we've tried so hard to obscure the differences between our national parties that we've forgotten they do matter. Their philosophies ARE different and amount to literally a matter of life and death. The GOP should reject Hillary's advice and move to sharpen the differences between themselves and the Democrats on the issue of national security. Its obvious the best way to reply to the Democrats is to put 9/11 front and center and remind the American people we still live in a dangerous time and ONLY one party can be trusted to ensure our national security. Hint: its not the one that met this month in Boston.

The speculation I heard and considered a possibility was Sec. Genl of the UN .. with Hillary as Pres of the USA .. they could virtually strip America of everything.

That ought to scare the fire out of everybody.

American citizens ... and our enemies and critics throughout the world ... need to viscerally revisit that day. It is THE defining historical event, THE seminal experience of the past four years - for America and the World.

We were brutally ambush attacked by murderous enemies on that day. They delivered death, destruction and mortal jihad to our doorstep without mercy or provocation. They announced their intent to further wage their war of death and destruction on America and Americans, on our soil without warning and at every opportunity.

George W. Bush has dedicated his every ounce of will, every day, to the protection of American lives, civilization and economy from subsequent assault from this lethal, stateless enemy peril. We are engaged in a grim War for our survival, and this President is taking the battle to our enemies with relentless resolve wherever they live. That's an approach, a philosophy and a track record open for scrutiny by the American people.

9/11 matters. Forever more. The traitorous Democrats, the vile Jersey Girls, and every other America hater here and abroad who wants to make 9/11 into an untouchable, meaningless political icon can go to Hell.

There was no separating the resolute engagement, sacrifice and human carnage of Iwo Jima, Bataan and Okinawa from the events of December 7, 1941. To marginalize and disconnect the unprovoked death and assault on America at Pearl Harbor to politically undermine the Commander in Chief, and thus the successful prospects of winning the subsequent War, would have been considered nothing short of treason in the campaign of 1944.

The Democrats, in the ugly depth of their hearts, wish the War on Terror being prosecuted by George W. Bush to fail. They wish to make 9/11 a repressed memory, disconnected from our victories and sacrifice in Afghanistan, Iraq and within our borders. The agents of the left, the ugly anti-American idiots we just watched blubber-dancing and celebrating their pagan cult in Boston, are traitors and enemies who can not, and will not, prevail.

And do you seriously think he is going to take her advice.

If I had 5 minutes with President Bush either in person or on the phone, I would tell him to just ignore the rantings of Hillary Clinton and go forth, let the American people decide in November. I truly believe the American people feel safer with President Bush in the White House, rather than gambling at the thought of Kerry in the White House and wondering if he's as capable as Bush when it comes to preempting attacks. According to Kerry himself from his own acceptance speech, he'd rather sit on his hands and wait for us to be attacked, just for the sake of keeping America stronger and building alliances.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rudy actually devoted most his entire speech at the upcoming RNC convention to 9/11. Both Rudy and President Bush were deeply affected by the events of 9/11, they've never forgotten, nor should we. It's unconscionable in my mind that Hillary wants to roll back the clock as if it were 9/10 as if 9/11 never happened.

First Kerry guarantees Bill Koffi Annan's UN job, then Hill gets to be Queen of the Universe after she takes stuff away from us for 'the common good'.

Hill may not be Queen of the Universe yet, but everytime she opens her big mouth she displays unbelievable hubris. Where does she get off lecturing the President of the United States on anything? Other than getting into college and presumably law school, she never accomplished a single thing on her own. She rode her sociopathic husband's coattails from one luxury perk after another. That's why she's the junior senator from NY. She's as much of an empty suit as Kerry is. Neither one did anything of substance in their entire lives and they know it. They haven't even a nodding acquaintance with integrity and honor.
