Also in the story:

"In a statement, Giuliani linked Kerry's reference to the Florida classroom with filmmaker Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11," which used video footage from that morning to portray the president as clueless.

"John Kerry must be frustrated in his campaign if he is armchair-quarterbacking based on cues from Michael Moore," Giuliani said. "John Kerry is an indecisive candidate who has demonstrated an inconsistent position on the war on terror, who voted against funding for our troops at war, and who cannot give a clear answer on his position concerning the decision to remove Saddam Hussein."

That last shot, a frequent taunt from the Bush campaign to Kerry, came after the Democrat told the UNITY gathering that he "might" have gone to war if Hussein had refused to disarm.

"You bet we might have," Kerry said, adding that the result would not have cost as much in American casualties or taxpayers' money.

What a waffler. "WE might have." Sheesh!!!

Kerry explained to Larry King that he did nothing for 40 minutes after the 2nd plane hit the WTC
and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..."

"You bet we might have,"

I knew the moment I heard that quote that it will fit nicely with his earlier "I voted FOR it before I voted AGAINST it".

This guy really knows how to put his foot in his mouth.

I hope this new line gets repeated until it sticks.

Does Kerry *really* want to make an issue of wartime leadership?

As I understand it, Bush continued reading after being informed of the 1st tower collision when people thought it was an accident. After the second one hit of course, it was clear it was deliberate and Bush went into action.

Didn't Jacques call for a 'raising of the level' of this campaign -- no more "personal attacks?"

Looks like he's "CHANGED HIS MIND!"

This was posted on The Corner at NRO. Thought it worth posting here:~~~~~~WHAT KERRY DID [KJL] Listen, he wasn't president on Sept. 11, and I am not questioning his reflexes or reactions, but it is worth noting what Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King: "...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and...

John Kerry is an indecisive candidate who has demonstrated an inconsistent position on the war on terror, who voted against funding for our troops at war, and who cannot give a clear answer on his position concerning the decision to remove Saddam Hussein.

John Kerry is nothing more than a traveling posthole salesman. He has nothing to sell, but expects voters to buy from him anyway.

Maybe Massachusetts voters will buy postholes from you, Mr. Kerry, but the rest of us will pass.

One definition of chutzpah....
Is the story of the guy who was just convicted of killing both his father and mother and then asks for mercy based on his being an orphan....

Another might be John 'effin' Kerry saying GW Bush doesn't have the 'Right Stuff' to be CnC..

Come Nov Kerry...the 'Not too Swift Boat' skipper...will be paddling his Boston 'Wailer' back home

imo

Let's see the guy that saw to it that he could get some bogus injury and bug out of Viet Nam 8 months short of a normal tour of duty, just to come home and throw his "Heroic < not >" medals over the WH wall and go before the Senate and accuse all of us who served honorably of being "baby killers" and "war criminals" so we come home and be spit upon by his naive followers would be a better Military Leader than GW?

Not in a million years!

What a puke!!!

These are exactly the kind of attacks that will win the election for Bush. Hope Kerry continues this line of campaigning. Of course, anything to keep his own record out of the public eye.

What would John F*ckin' have done that President Bush couldn't? Not unless he had a crystal ball. Its a little late for him to engage in Monday morning quarterbacking. What we have here is another political cheap shot, not responsible criticism.

That's the most classic use of decisive indecision I've ever heard.

Of COURSE Bush didn't act fast enough...If it had been KERRY, He'd have acted!!!

I'm SURE he could have ordered NYC Police & Fire Fighters to rush up to the floors that were hit, sift trough all of the burning bodies on the planes, and arrest the terrorists that DID it!

DORK!
