George P. Bush, a nephew of the president and son of the Florida governor, married Fort Worth attorney Amanda Williamson Saturday evening at a seaside Episcopal church.
Among the guests at the 40-minute ceremony were President Bush, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and the groom's grandfather, former president George H.W. Bush.
"Get that fish?" President Bush called to photographers. "Thirty-eight inches!" Jenna Bush -- twin Barbara is at right -- caught the monster. (Stephan Savoia -- AP)
In some editions of the Post, the name of George P. Bush's bride, Amanda Williams, was incorrect in an Aug. 8 Style article because two words ran together in typesetting.
President Bush on Tuesday named Rep. Porter J. Goss (R-Fla.) as his choice to head the Central Intelligence Agency. Since retiring as a CIA clandestine service officer in 1971, which of the following jobs has Goss NOT held?
The two-minute motorcade from the family compound at Walker Point to St. Ann's Episcopal Church included nine black Suburbans filled with Secret Service agents. The president waved to the press pool from the Suburban that carried him and his mother. Shortly after arriving Friday afternoon, the president went out on his father's speedboat, Fidelity III, which has three 275-horsepower engines. The two went out on the Atlantic again Saturday morning, with the president's twins, Jenna and Barbara, as a Coast Guard cutter idled nearby.
"Get that fish?" Bush called to a boat of photographers. "Thirty-eight inches! Jenna caught it," Bush said.
The twins FISH TOO!?!?!? Now I know I'm in love!!!
Compare and Contrast
BTW, the article was excerpted from the Washington Post, but for some reason it is not saying it was. Click on the link for more photos.
Kennedy fishes tooo oh wait he is a fish - a Blow Fish!
Notice the name of the boat. I'm guessing he did not not inherit it from the previous administration.
Actually, I'm pretty sure he's a whale.
Another one? It looks just like the one they caught this past Saturday.
I have first dibs on Barbara.
You can have Jenna.
You win today's prize for "Compare and Contrast."
I am all about Barbara myself. Blondes are overrated.
W is quite the hottie. Jeb's a looker too.
aww they are soo hot... drewll....!!!
A presidential wanna' be who claims he'd never set foot on a yacht less than 120' long, who's worth is nearly a billion dollars, and who eats the pizza of the flight crew who ferries him around.
Or a president on a 20' +/- boat, with his sleeves rolled up while fishing, who wears a baseball cap, and PRO-RODEO WRANGLER jeans!
Which one is the "MAN OF THE PEOPLE" again, and which one is for the snooty elite? I need ta' know before I vote.
We were in Acadia NP in late July walking the Ocean Path by the Otter Cliffs when a young man in a "REAGAN REVOLUTION" t-shirt came aroung the corner. Bar Harbor is so lefty the site took me by surprise. He was with a group of people, one of which in afterthought looked a lot like elder Bush.
He carried himself like someone who's used to people looking at him. Anyway the older woman he was with was definitely not Barbara (old but blonde) so I dimsmissed the thought. When I asked my wife a few minutes after they passed, she had observed that another kid was leaning way out over the cliff wall to get a photo of the old guy. Looking at the wedding pictures, I think the kid in the t-shirt could be the groom. Could they have been taking the new in-laws sightseeing?
If it was, I felt like kicking myself for not going up to him and at least saying that we supported his son 100% and wish him the best.
Hey Jenna, come to rudypoot, come to rudypoot!
Look at that beauty! and that's a nice fish too.
