The Kerry campaign has told Salon that the publisher of "Unfit for Command," the book that is at the center of the attack on Kerry's military record by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, is retailing a hoax and should consider withdrawing it from bookstores. "No publisher should want to be selling a book with proven falsehoods in them, especially falsehoods that are meant to smear the military service of an American veteran," said Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton. "If I were them, I'd be ducking under my desk wondering what to do. This is a serious problem."
Even some uncomfortable Republicans might breathe a sigh a relief if "Unfit for Command" were to vanish from bookstores: "I don't think the Swift Boat Veterans are helping the Republican cause," Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., remarked on CNN Thursday.***

Next they showed clips from Comedy Central's 'Daily Show' a fake news parody that takes a lot of fun in guess what? Bashing Bush! The MC told the audience that most young people get their news from the late night comedy and that the host, Jon Stewart deserved a cabinet position in the Kerry administration! They showed 20 minutes (2 clips) from the Daily Show, one of them Clinton was the guest and he smeared the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, said the same old DNC talking points about how it was the same bunch that smeared McCain in 2000... yada, yada, yada. Non-stop Bush bashing. "Keep your shirt on, keep your powder dry, bite your tongue, hold your fire, wait till you see the whites of their eyes..."
Next was 10 minute video of their hero Hanoi John Kerry briefly in Vietnam, very briefly testifying before the Senate, (they didn't feature him saying anything about war crimes - AMAZING!). They repeatedly said how he was EXPERT on foreign policy. "Keep your shirt on, keep your powder dry, bite your tongue, hold your fire, wait till you see the whites of their eyes..." ***
And he'll also be on Hannity and Colmes tonight on Fox News.
Kerry's people were scheduled but CANCELLED!
My gosh, these people are scum.
Let me clarify that. Kerry , Clanton etc. These comments are outrageous. If anyone smears the military, it's Kerry.
Kerry and his mental midgets are just digging themselves a deeper hole. Pretty soon their heads will be sticking out of a hole in Cambodia at the other side of the world!

Essentially, Thurlow saved a boat and their crew... And Kerry saved a soldier who was a passenger on his own boat.
What a laugh! No publisher would want to sell a book with falsehoods in it? LOL! Golly! Then they better take Bill and Hill Clinton's book off the shelves!

I'll bet you can't find "Unfit" in Barnes and Noble.
Already read them... Kerry leaves out the actual action reports, which if they contain his signature as the author... would confirm the allegations by the Swift Vets as having substance.
