I understand that Mr. Keyes speaks his mind, but I would not describe his words in the same manner as you. I find his take on issues quite interesting. I like to hear his views, because he always makes an intriguing argument for each of them. I find his views fascinating, not harmful as you do--if I may paraphrase. I also enjoy reasoning out my views on a particular subject, and then hearing what Mr. Keyes has to say on that subject. He is a great sounding board to make sure that one is truly convinced of whatever it is we believe to be correct.
In my opinion, Mr. Keyes is eloquent, respectful, and quite refreshingly intelligent.
I believe your comments, and the affect Mr. Keyes has on you, says much more about you, than him.
I don't like Alan Keyes.
Alan Keyes is to politics what Evil Knievel is to motorcross sppots.
I examined his post quite closely before it got pulled as a matter of fact, I actually posted it in its entirety.
"motorcross sports"
We know you don't like him, Luis.
That is apparent in every post you make.
Your disdain fairly drips from each one.
Very strange thing, that.
But then you blamed 'the Keyes campaign'.
Strange, he was posting against Alan right before he posted that to the other person.
Heh...
That explains how his fire and brimestone condemnations manage to alienate even most Republicans. Unless of course you believe that's his intention?
He hasn't 'repeatedly attacked the President'. That's B.S. and a slander no matter how many times you repeat it.
You should know better than to accuse me of slander. Unlike you, I NEVER post anything that I can't back up.
Allow me to enlighten you;

Here's Keye's attacking Bush on his stem cell decision;
"The evil that you know, the evil that inspires you to fight again is not the worst evil," Keyes said. "The worst evil creeps behind your lines and dominates your leadership."
"He accused Bush of being evil," said Chuck Lutz, president of the Tarrant County Republican Assembly. "I don't think anyone in that room would say George W. Bush is trying to see how much evil he can get away with. "I have heard him go off the deep end before. I can't say I was surprised, but I did not expect it." .

Here's another attack by Keyes on Bush in ANOTHER article;
"If Republicans get sucked into this false reckoning of the political landscape, we deserve what we get. The Bush family has never represented conservatism, and there is not much reason to think that it does so today." _____________________________
So are you ready to apologize for accusing me of "slandering" Keyes?
I had never seen that last one before.
Alan, in fact, has been a major catalyst in TRUE ecumenism between Catholics and Protestants in this country.
His willingness to follow scripture and his own conscience, in some cases even in conflict with his own church, such as on the death penalty, has made it easy to reach out and form relationships with large numbers of evangelicals like myself.
And there can be no doubt that he has been one of many key leaders in the exodus of Catholics to the GOP over the last two decades.
I thank God for leaders like this. We could use lots more like him.
Why is that strange?
I don't like a lot of politicians.
It would actually be more strange if I liked them all.
It's from Losing Senate, reclaiming GOP: Alan Keyes celebrates dead weight slough-off
Published: Saturday, June 16, 2001 Author: Ambassador Alan Keyes
At least Alan is smarter than you. He voices his disagreements in between election cycles, not two and a half months from a general election like you and your friends.
Thanks. (Sigh...)
He just can't seem to figure out how to get elected.
Yup. If a substantial portion of GOP politicians started acting like him, we would all get to relish the joys of living in the political wilderness. Hello 8 years of President Hillary.
It's easy to say whatever you want when you don't have a hope in hell of getting power. It's a little tougher to live in the real world.
Why do you insist on making this personal, and insulting people? Does it make you feel good, or what?
I'd say at this point his chances are better than yours.
Unless there's something you haven't been telling us.
He just can't seem to figure out how to get elected.
Don't be so negative. He's only 41 points behind Obama.
