The Fraud Perpetrated by John Kerry
SwiftVets Discussion Board ^ | Aug 23, 2004 | Name withheld

Posted on 08/23/2004 5:48:56 PM PDT by Henk

I have been a Navy intelligence specialist for 20 years and have extensive background in analysis and archival investigations. One of my most enjoyable tours was with the Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Office from 1994 to 1998. Senator John Kerry was the Vietnam War Working Group Co-Chairman for the U.S.-Russian Joint Commission on POW/MIAs of which I was an integral member. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I "served" with Senator Kerry as I "served" with Senator Smith (NH), Congressman Peterson (FL), and Congressman Johnson (TX), who were also Co-Chairmen of the Commission. Why I can't say I served with Senator Kerry? Because he was MIA during the Commission's highly visible work for the four years I was there. Yet, this is not why I am writing to tell you that John F. Kerry has perpetrated a lie to the American people.

The events of 13 March 1969 have been much publicized in the media lately, and comprise a story which has piqued my professional curiosity and spurred me to conduct my own investigation into the events. I can't help but analyze as the United States has taught me this skill for 20 years.

Active duty Navy analyst dissects Kerry's afetr action report and provides basis for concluding that Kerry wrote it.

Note that the text above is an excerpt. The "I" in the text is the author, not me. I am just reporting it here since it's worth going over and taking a look at on the SwiftVets site where you can also see people's comments.

A friend dropped off the book today.

Reading this book is one of the most eye opening experiences I have had in the power of media. They let Kerry perpetuate his lies without challenge.

I knew the media was powerful. Powerful enough to get a president elected and let him stay in office. But I had no idea they could mis-portray an entire war and our soldiers in quite the way that they permitted Kerry to do. (That isn't a grammatical sentence but between being sick and outraged...)

I am not sure I felt this much anger, even in the aftermath of 9/11. That may sound overly dramatic to some people, but I can almost accept the fact that there are fanatical people on this planet who hate us enough to try and destroy the country.

What I can't accept is that our OWN people darned near destroyed the country in the 60's and 70's and completely demolished our country's will to fight a war and let millions and millions of Southern Vietnamese get killed because of our untimely withdrawal.

I cannot accept that our OWN people ruined the reputations of our fine, brave soldiers. I could absolutely sob. It is a tragic story. Tragic.

Hey, Kerry had good reason to miss those meetings! He was either in Cambodia getting his hat blocked or in Georgetown getting his ashes hauled!

Working with Senator Kerry for 4 years at the POW/MIA Office made me realize something - When did the man ever do any work?

He didn't have to. He married rich x2.

Kerry's got a huge problem. His spokesmen have been saying that no one can produce a single document showing he's a fraud. Guess what: we don't need it (though it's probably there).

When Clinton was parsing words like this he WAS the sitting president. Hard to throw out a lout who's been duly elected.

But Kerry hasn't done that. He still has got to woo the vote. Simply not liking the way he looks condescendingly on people is enough to lose. If he looks and feels like a fraud, (and he does), he's cooked.

" Reading this book is one of the most eye opening experiences I have had in the power of media. They let Kerry perpetuate his lies without challenge. "

Many who do not have the book, might assume that it just focuses on the 3 Purple Hearts and the 2 medals.
I was surprised and revolted to read the accounts of swift boat veteran after veteran-names that are not yet as well known as John O'Neill and Van Odell and Jim Rassmann-who give their first hand accounts of what it was like to serve alongside Kerry.
Kerry fled when the going got tough and abandoned the other swift boats when they were under fire ,
he disobeyed orders,
he and his crew went off on their own,
Kerry had no fire discipline and routinely opened up on innocent civilian Vietnamese and on and on and on.
And almost to a man, they say " Kerry imagined this, it never happened "
" Kerry made this up,"
" Kerry lied "
"Kerry fantasized this "
" Kerry wrote a fraudulent report."

The sheer number of times one reads comments like that, about incident after incident, adds to the inescapable truth about Kerry- he is either a lifelong pathological liar or mentally ill.

Boy, it's been a while since the last time I had "my hat blocked" (if you know what I mean, nudge, nudge, wink, wink). But then I was never in 'Nam.

"You mean how you accused thousands of vets you never served with of war crimes?"[

Insightful cartoon. Kerry must have been referring to only those he served with, according to his meaning of what "served with" is; namely, only those five crewmates directly under Kerry's command.

Finally, after 33 years, we have clarification as to who Kerry was blaming. It was his own Band of War Criminals who under his command "had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country."

Kerry sounds unfit to command to me. I wonder if is crewmates will still support this fraud in the morning?

It isn't John eFing Kerry's military service in Vietnam that counts...

It is what he did when he came home that counts!

eBay---just make sure you ask the seller if they actually have the book in their possession. Also, price on eBay may be higher than elsewhere.

They are attempting to do it again today in Iraq.

To defeat them today, the American people have to understand the past. I have felt from the beginning G.W. became our President at this precise moment in history for special reason. I have the same sense that Kerry was nominated as the DNC candidate for a reason. I do feel the Lord's hand in events of our Day.

In order to defend this country from threats abroad, we need to defeat the enemy within. My prayer isn't only that these brave men that served our country in that war and during the era have their reputations restored, but that our country rids itself of the ideology that has made America vulnerable to attack.

This is another thing I don't get... how he got a "pass" on this, too. I think Kerry (& most Democrats) opperate in "projecting" what they do onto somebody else.

You have to understand: The media found the chinks in the armor to say 'oh, it's all false'... they will ignore any allegation against Kerry that can't be undermined.
