Come to think of it, they should hire Baghdad Bob as their Campaign spokesman. He would be more entertaining than any thing Kerry could say on the campaign trail on a given day.

I don't give a damn what the Big Media thinks. I stopped watching them ages ago.

LOL! Sorry about that, meant my reply #37 metaphorically, not literally.

Now if we could only get the other 40 million people to go along.

They need to do more than discuss it. The MSM need to ask Kerry some hard questions. Kerry goes on the Daily Show and the MSM is quiet amidst the controversy. Unfit for Command is headed for Number 1 and the bookstores can't keep the book on the shelves. The momentum is building. Kerry's strategy is to send out surrogates and hope that it will all blow over. It might if the MSM doesn't put any pressure on Kerry. We need some GOP surrogates like Dole, Duke Cunningham, and others to put the pressure on.

When Max shows up for his big photo op, perhaps th Pres could surprise him and the gathering media by allowing a Vet actually injured in combat (but not a Swiftie) come forward to receive the letter. He in turn could provide Max a letter from all vets asking Kerry to answer the questions.

This is not about Bush and Kerry. Its about Kerry and those he betrayed. For Bush to receive Max, is an admission of that. But for Bush to have the Swifties there would suggest the collusion the media is so desperate to find.

Interesting suggestion. It will be fascinating to see how W handles the Cleland visit and how the MSM play it.

You need one of these to read this garbage. The today show is just one more of F'ing's 527s.

An appropriate representative of W should greet Cleland warmly and immediately give Cleland a letter calling on Kerry to stop his 527s.

Maybe Bush will greet the former Senator ...

Why thank you Senator for the nice note, will you take this note back for me? BTW, did you bring the dog VC, Barney likes to play with friends, even imaginary ones.

Doesn't this gimmicky, high schoolish photo-shopping visit to Bush's home, make Cleland look like a dirty trickster?

Cleland sold his soul a long time ago, when he allowed his handlers to portray his injuries as something received from heroic acts in VN.

For many years, I actually thought Cleland was a hero, since the biased MSM always gave the impression that his injuries were a result of his heroic actions.

I never liked him, but he had my respect.

Now that I know better as to how he received the injuries, I have no respect nor compassion for him, particularly in light of the fact that he never corrected the impressions he allowed people to form.

He is again allowing himself to be used, except now his self respect was thrown out the window for a real POS.

I now pity Cleland, not for his injuries, but for his stupidity and gullibility, in allowing the Kerry machine to prostitute him.

Good work. LOL.

My reaction to watching this stuff has been, literally, to come down with acid reflux, so I always have my trusty Nexium within reach.

Bush should send Paul Galanti out to receive Cleland's plea.

I had never heard about Cleland before the 2002 elections. He whored for the Dems in opposing the Pres on security issues and it cost him the election. One would think a lesson would have been learned but instead he is again allowing himself to be whored by the DNC. What will it cost him this time?

"people will get very angry if they learn the Bush campaign was behind this."

Here is the truly sad part about this whole angle: no, they won't. If they found out that karl rove wrote every single word of copy, if they found out that GWB wrote the entire book, they would not get angry about that.

Did anyone get angry about the fact that an in-the-tank for Al Gore sleezeball lawyer broke the GWB DUI story on the Friday before election day? No. Well some Bush supporters got angry about it, but a lot of them got angry at bush for not defusing that landmine years ago, and a lot more people got angry at Bush for "hiding his past".

People know that politics is hardball, they know the Swiftees don't want Kerry to be president and it isn't going to surprise anybody that therefore they must prefer that Bush be elected, even those amoung them who may not vote for him.

Is anybody really ANGRY that moveon.org is pretending to be an independant operation? Or are we just annoyed at them for boosting Kerry, whom we want to see lose? I mean, if it came out tomorrow that Heinz Fdn. money gave every penny in Moveon's coffers would we be surprised? Would we say: that's it, now I'm really mad at Kerry and moveon?

I don't think so.

That an OUTSIDE lawyer giving advice to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth also advises the Bush campaign.

I guess the Swifties should've hired John Edwards--to verify their independence and suicidal tendencies.

Eleanor Clift is on Fox&Friends. She can't even tell the talkingpoints lie to defend Kerry and decry the SBV with a straight face. [She broke into a slight 'I know I'm saying this but I know I'm lying' grin.]

She knows she's lying by trying to defend Kerry. She is hem-hawing and even come up with a coherent sentence. So, she goes into auto-mode of defaming everyone who is against Kerry.

Michael Reagan is countering her.

Eleanor is whining that the SBV 527 is evil, mean, bad, but Kerry's supporting 527's are fine, great, the only truths. [She claims the SBV have been 'shot full of holes' but she hasn't mention Moore's F-911 fraud.]

Also, on H & C last night, Colmes addressed a transcript in which O'Neill supposedly tells Nixon he was in Cambodia. O'Neill replied that he was not in Cambodia and the next line in the transcript says that he was not. Anyone know what that is all about?

I would also like to know about this seeing I saw it on CNN last night with Arron Brown but CNN did not show any line about O'Neill saying he was "not" in Cambodia.
