Please tell us that you great people of South Dakota will kick Dashole out of office this year. Please comment on how things are going. What do the polls say so far? You can do it South Dakota. The country needs you to come through.

I've seen Thune +2 and Daschle running towards Bush for safety.

It makes me sick seeing Dashole pulling that crap. The South Dakota people have to be able to see through it...

Seems downright nutty that he wouldn't. But here in SD I haven't heard anything about such a move. But I must say I've had no contact with the campaigns for a week or so. The local paper dubbed the Argus Liar keeps pooh-poohing the last time Bush came out for Thune (in 2002)but would not promise more federal dollars for drought stricken farmers and ranchers. I don't know if that is what is keeping Bush away. I've told John Thune that he should stand up unapologetically as a Republican. I'm afraid they fear getting on the "wrong side" of the fiercely independent streak that South Dakotans like to maintain.
