I just figured out why Fox barely skimmed over the forgery bit on news watch, especially Neal Gambler. They aren't internet savvy. They have no idea whats out there only Jeff? and they cut him off when he tried to school them a little.

Actually this is probably the most profound post I have seen in a while.
Who makes up the MSM?
Journalism majors?
Versus the people that make America work?
Tick Tock

I saw Tony Snow interview some former CBS producer. He was a real nutcase. Tony asked why Rather did not disclose that there were several other witnesses who said the documents were fake. The guy said something like, "Well, that's good journalistic judgment. These people were Bush supporters."
Snow responded with, "Well, they did not have any trouble using Barnes' statement and he's a Kerry supporter."
The guy's response was, "Sure, with proper disclosure."
Watching that interview you really got a feel for how extreme these guys are.
He also complained that there was no check on the bloggers. To me, it seems that he's really complaining that the bloggers have now placed a check on the networks.

I was on F.R all day Thursday,I think my last post was about 2-2:30 A.M.
I knew we had won when the OP/ED pieces from Fridays N.Y Times were being posted,Krugman, and his fellow sleaze merchants were talking about Rather's forged memo's as if they were holy scripture.
We already knew they were fake.
They are so far behind, they will never catch up.

Ditto! I heard a Dem. talking head today start with the "What the poor current Military and their families must think" line today regarding the current stories about media fraud. Let me give you a hint. We have seen the bias and deceit of the media first hand. We are going to be more than happy to see them exposed for what they are. They have cost our military a lot of lives with exploiting anything that would bring our country and military down.

Free Republic is the clearing house for truth. Word spread like wild fire once Freepers get ahold of examples of:
MSM bias
MSM fabrications
MSM recitals of DNC talking points
MSM decline in America
It should be the mission, indeed the responsibility, of every registered Freeper to seek out MSM bias and post it on this venerable site. That is how the Swift Boat Vets, the AP "boo" story and the CBS Rathergate (which still has a long way to go before it the whole story gets out) issues made it into the current political discussion.
NOTICE to MSM: Three strikes and you are out. From now on the people are the media and they will decide what the truth is. Your decline is imminent. Cable news, blogs, talk radio, discussion boards et al are now the new main stream. Those of you who refuse to retreat to the noble purposes of real journalism (read NYT, CBS, NBC, LAT, ABC, USA Yesterday) will go the way of the typewriter, vinyl records, and rotary telephones.

Excellent rant. Now get it out to Instapundit and the others so they might quote one or two lines, and make a link for the rest. When you throw down a gauntlet, it's rather important that the other side actually SEE the gauntlet on the ground.
Good luck, or as John Kerry would say, "Bonne chance."
