I bet that if everyone tunes into CBS to see what Dan has to say, then CBS and Dan's sponsers will smile all the way to the bank and won't give a rats ass about Dan's leftest bias or his shilling for Kerry and the DNC. Here is a Tom Paine.com article about him.
Sounds plausible based on what Wizbang has dug up on the guy. Perhaps Marty gave them to Mary Mapes of CBS, and the swift vet story caused them to run with this in desperation.

There is another option. I call is the "Juan Williams Blinded by the Light" option -- tell viewers not to focus on the facts pointing to the fraudulent nature of the documents, but focus instead on the content.
