<"Finally, theres a detail that appears to have escaped press notice: The Web site where Buckheads posting appeared also happens to be the repository for anti-Jew, anti-Catholic, anti-homosexual, anti-John Kerry rants by Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D. And whom, you ask, is Dr. Corsi? Co-author of the best-selling Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry, thats who. "
I have been an official member of FreeRepublic since Sept. of 2001. I was a lurker there several years prior. I am also a Catholic. There is a flourishing Catholic list on FreeRepublic, and we have many Jewish members who would be, along with the rest of the Catholics, surprised to know that FreeRepublic is anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish.
As far as anti-Kerry rants? Well, I was not aware that Dr. Corsi was a member, but I can safely say that I rant regularly against Mr. Kerry. He would make a terrible president. He's a traitor and a turncoat. Finally, FreeRepublic has over 20,000 members. Do you not suppose that that number might include the sort of experts that could pick out a fraudulent document from a genuine one?
Mr. Anson, you are a "useful idiot".

Exhibit A, Buckhead, whose few sentences continue to reverberate. Exhibit B, this wordy twit.
Heck, they've been calling Bush stupid *and* evil for four years now, so they're used to that inconsistency!
And who sits "six to a dozen feet away" from their computer monitor unless they are using WebTV on their big screen TV set?
He's suggesting we all figured this out from watching the broadcast, and leaves out the fact that the docs were posted on cbsnews.com.
If Buckhead was a bird, he'd be my Falcon.
Regards
The forgery was so obvious that anyone who was older than 50 and had any experience with military documents would know that they were NOT typed on a military issue typewriter and that they had all the earmarks of a word processor or typesetter.
Buckhead was the first to state categorically that the docments were forged. But questions about the documents started the second that CBS showed them on TV.
This isn't rocket science. Its common sense.
For Rather to take this deliberate, hardline stance to resist an obvious truth, one has to wonder where this will eventually lead. Wherever that truth lies the cost to a reporter of 30+ years is instant and devastating loss of credibility.
Even the BLIND should be able to SMELL something here which leads me to believe that Mr. Anson has lost both these "senses".
And contrary to the idiot author's presumption, the knowledge needed to spot the forgery isn't even "specialized". You just have to be old enough to have used typewriters in the 70's, and then word processors in the 80+'s. And there are millions of us who have done just that.
When you've actually worked with something, and lived through a change, you tend to REMEMBER it. What an idiot.
Very good. The leftists don't want to let the facts get in the way of their opinions.
No, I am Buckhead!!!
He's a big-city liberal. But then I suppose that's redundant.
WOW ! That's good.
Hey Jim!!!
Make some "I am Buckhead" shirts. I'll buy one. It might be a good fund raiser.
Oh, but it's not JUST that! Buckhead talks real purty for a Right-Winger.
Thank you.
