Some people use *** asterisks *** to set off a quoted section, until someone shows them how to Italicise and stuff. The problem is that if you type in the HTML commands, they execute instead of displaying the commands.

I was really great with WordPerfect 5.0. This new stuff is hard work :-).

Good point. No matter how you do that, those people can use a good "witch slapping" as well as the "total smackdown" delivered to them in spades.
