Look at the young boy to the right in the picture. Notice the clenched fist and the set of his jaw? This kid is ready to punch something and I imagine it would be teh father or teh little girl if he had the chance.

Yes, you are confused. The little kid is looking at the Kerry supporter just to the little girl's right who's laughing at the little girl. Judging from his complexion and hair color and his lack of a Kerry shirt, he's probably that little girl's brother.

My daughter and son in law live in (college prof land) Upper Arlington, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. (They're moving when they buy a house.) Anyway, she got flipped off yesterday by a man in a BMW after seeing her Bush/Cheney bumper sticker. He, of course, had a Kerry sticker. My daughter took the high road and ignored him. I probably wouldn't have.

There's nothing to be gained by avoiding family and friends simply because they're liberals. I have a number of liberal friends. Granted, they're nothing like most of the idiot liberals you hear about in the news and on this site, but they're still more liberal than I am.
