Agreed. The entire family should be invited, with special attention to the little girl and her big brother.
OOOOOOOOOO............my birthday is next week, I think I will give myself the same present!
Sorry to disappoint you, FRiend :-). I've had kids 2-4 years old start crying for all kinds of reasons, because you told them, "No, we're not having ice cream, now, sorry." or "There's no bathroom in the van, I thought we'd covered that before!"
After 800+ posts on this situation, probably I was headed in the wrong direction, originally, but it's not unrealistic. Wait until your son is 2!
Ah....stickboy punks.
Totally agreed. But I'd have NEVER believed this if I hadn't seen it.
NO!
This is STILL AMERICA, darn it! We SHOULD BE ABLE to take our kids to political rallies!!! My anger's not at YOU, my anger's .... well, it's in a lot of places.
I've emailed this to a LOT of people tonight. Along with the link. I voted. These scum. Imagine what they're going to be like AFTER their party loses this November? Good grief.
Books, man, books!
515 votes! Still number one! And the second photo is at #15 with 21 votes!
It's heady stuff, I'm warning you in advance. ;^)
Wow. "Misprise?" I would have lost a Scrabble challenge on that one.
Boy, I would've made that a$$ho1e swallow that smirk and the sign, rip his head off and s--t down his troath to teach him a lesson. (i am a 260 pounder and not easy to be overpowered, not even by a few Union goons; i can hold my line pretty damn good!)
The father in the picture looks a little overwhelmed and powerless. In my case if anyone touches and/or does anything to my hurt my daughter is either a dead or very hurt man. Period!
That's a fake what's your point?
further, one of the union thugs is smiling, apparently proud of his work
Verb, transitive ... noun, "misprision."
I'd love to see this on Hannity and Colmes!
Welocme to posting at FR!!!!!!
don't sweat the small stuff (like italics) you'll get it soon enough!!!
Would you people SLOW DOWN so I can reach the end and then go to bed?!
"Let her go naked!", responded future first lady Teresa Antoinette Kerry upon viewing a photograph of the incident.
I hope everyone picks this story up. All moms and dads need to see this.
I think the father did the right thing in staying, apparently, calm. It reminds me of the sit-ins and marches in the sixties by blacks when they followed the rule not to hit back but accept the brutality and let the cameras tell the real story.
Both pics are very powerful - the first one more so because of the thug's smirk, the little girl crying, the Dad dejected/concerned and the little brother ready to defend his families honor.
As bad as the AP is and has been of recent, this photographer gets kudos and I hope some awards.
