Dan would have been their hero, again, if he'd pulled it off.

Ask yourself if you've heard that elucidated in this "liberal media" crush to crucify CBS anchor Dan Rather who, a week after 9/11, got behind Bush on David Letterman's show, saying, "Wherever he wants me to line up, just tell me where."

Yeah, and how long did that last? The French said nice things about us after 9/11 as well, and they were just as fickle.

If the Toronto Red Star is screaming at CBS, it has to be over. They make the Berserkely student newspaper look like rightwing propogandist material.

As Byron York explained on Brit's show last evening:

The Facts about Bush and the National Guard - The Democratic charges fall apart.***EDITOR'S NOTE: The still-escalating fight over the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and their criticisms of John Kerry's Vietnam War record has led to new Democratic attacks on George W. Bush and his service in the Texas Air National Guard. "George Bush used his father to get into the National Guard, was grounded and then went missing," says an ad produced by MoveOn.org's political action committee.

Democrats made similar attacks earlier this year. In April, Kerry referred to Bush as a president who "can't even answer whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard," and who "has yet to explain to America whether or not, and tell the truth, about whether he showed up for duty." In February, Kerry said he wanted answers about Bush's service in Alabama, saying "Just because you get an honorable discharge does not, in fact, answer that question."

Lost amid all the charges are the facts about Bush's time in the Guard. When did he serve? What did he do? Did he fulfill his responsibilities? Was he in Alabama? In the March 8, 2004, issue of National Review, Byron York investigated and found the answers. ....***

Bush-Cheney Jedi Mind Tricksters

LOL. I like it. Unfortunately, one does not have to be much of a Jedi to trick the minds of our opponents in the evil Democratic empire.

President Reagan is probably slapping Churchill on the back, laughing and pointing at CBS, both with smiles you couldn't wipe off with a thunderbolt.

The joke is, CBS's biggest critics — including bloggers, who now claim victory for killing the MSM (that's mainstream media, to you reading this column on paper) — still complain that the "legacy'' old media are "liberal media," an evil cabal hell-bent on bringing Bush down.

LOL. She tries to make the point that the MSM isn't left-wing and liberal..."an evil cabal hell-bent on bringing Bush down." Then, throughout the rest of her article does just that.

Amazing how the hypocrite can't perceive her own hypocrisy.

Don't you get the feeling that this Antonia does not like President Bush at all? Well, maybe she will bet over it in the next four years of the Bush Administration.

NOBODY with any integrity quotes the discredited Greg Palast.

This is one Canadian that ought to crawl back inside his bottle of Molson's and stay there.
