Turn out was fantastic and the protestors were pathetic outside.

The crowd was great! Huge crowd for this neck o' the woods. Bands, cheerleaders, high school and college kids, young families showing their children the President. Lots of ex-military folks, tons of old folks like Dufarge and myself. Spirit. Dubya was charming, gracious, serious, humorous and then dead serious.

Two idiot middle aged men with bad tee shirts escorted out in front of us.

A dozen of the usual suspects patheticly outside. We took the long way home and on the wrong side of the airport there were seven "High School Students Against Bush" looking stoned and wondering where that idiot Bush was.
:O)

The radio just said 10,000 people at the Prez. thing. Awsome

but added: "I'm nervous to go to Iraq."

And rightfully so, but Spec. Eddie Latham is going unlike anyone from the WP who are experts from the safety of the key boards.

They might have been told for security reasons to all sit down.

If not, and if it were me, I don't think I could ever keep sitting if the Prez approach me with a handshake, standing. (picky picky picky, I know).

Other than that, great pics. Really shows how the troops and Bush are naturals for each other, something Lurch and the Breck Girl could only dream about.

God Bless our Troops. What a great President and Commander-in-Chief. The genuine enthusiasm and bond they have comes through those pics loud and clear.

I'm sure Kerry would have responded that he would do it with more sensitivity and greater satisfaction - If the media was to have covered this at all.

Where are their weapons?

With the armorer and flying military or military contractor.

Look at the plane. That's a commercial aircraft under contract to the US Army. There's probably a couple of flight attendants as well.

He is an amazing leader! What a combination of firmness in the face of adversity yet tenderness and tireless moments of genuine humanity and love for his nation this man evidences. His character is so solid and loving...so marvelous...and I trust him. Completely.

Those pictures you posted, juxtaposed, tell quite a story. And if the one of hitlery at the Thanksgiving junket to Iraq, where the troops around her look miserable, were in that same post-the complete story could be told. (I understand they had to disarm troops when clinton was near! LOL Don't know if that is just a rumor, but I know I read it somewhere!)

Had I been that young Marine, Hanoi John Effing Kerry would have been pointing at my back, as I walked out the door!

No way, Jose, does Hanoi John Effing Kerry ever get to waste a nanosecond of my time with his BS!

I don't believe we've ever had in the White House a man with the combination of intense strength and courage AND compassion and love for others.

We are witnessing history with this President, Republic, and God is directing every step of the way.

"Who cares where the weapons are?"

Exactly!

Bush taking moments to visit troops on a plane, awesome!!!
I've been saying for 4 years that Bush needs to throw out his speech writers and planners and just be himself.
This is the real Bush, this is just another day in his life.
Where are the reporters and news media.(CBS and the gangs s*ck.
This is front page worthy!!!!!!
