It's kinda funny really.
His flip floppin turns off true Libs, and moderate/conservative dems don't trust him...

Most of the college kid/liberals I know are of 3 camps:

hard core deaniacs:
these will probably vote dem, but a lot will goto Nader.

Closet socialist:
these will almost all vote Nader, third party, Socialist Worker, Mickey Mouse, etc.

Future NEA Member Democrats:
because that's what mommy/the professor told me to vote. They'll vote Kerrey. But most won't bother voting..

Notice how none of these dems are crawl through glass to vote for Kerrey folks. I haven't met one yet. Lotta Bush haters, but no Kerrey lovers.

Bush Youth, on the other hand, are hella fired up.

Even the professors are worried...I tried to explain to one that the only Kennedy the kids know is a drunk fat slob named Ted, and the only Dem president they know of is a horny old liar named Clinton. Most Dems are still livin in the '60's. Compound this with 9-11 and their limp wristed response and they've lost a whole generation of voters.
The campus has turned right, and I'm loving it.

I find it amusing how Kerry talks about being the "foreign policy" candidate, how he will recreate the alliances that President Bush has supposedly destroyed, and then manages to insult our REAL allies, like Great Britain (in a speech a while back), and then the things he did and said today... BTW, am I the only one who noticed that MA was short a senator at the joint session today?

Kerry is not only the "siren" of defeatism, he's the "bullhorn" at 180 decibels!

Never mind Gravitas! How about simple courtesy!
The man may be wealthy but he is no gentleman.

He should have been in the Capitol waiting to greet PM Allawi. If he could not bear to do that he should at least not have insulted the official leader of a sovereign nation, a guest in our country!

I know he is going to do worse in the next 40 days, but my brain cannot comprehend what that will be.

Kerry in private to Te-RAY-sa: "That Allawi is a scumbag."

Why isn't Edwards picking up the slack for Kerry today?

Good point, where IS the pretty boy? He's vanished!

If someone "vanished" for awhile at my previous venue of employment, the rumor was they're in rehab.

Cheney should have added: "Say, War Hero, when one suggests that your record in Vietnam wasn't what you claimed it to be, your backers scream,'Were you on the boat?' Now you so much as accuse Allawi of lying. Kerry,
were you in Iraq?"

In Hollywood, if you're in rehab, they say you're in the hospital because you're "suffering from exhaustion."

I wish they'd just uninvite the Democrat leadership & invite a few of us Conservative common folk to the diplomatic-type of speeches. We'd sure be alot more appreciative.

These are ALL GREAT QUOTES! Thanks!

Kerry is essentially CALLING for TERRORISTS to STEP UP their attacks for the

next 40 days - MORE CLEARLY than Zawahiri has ever done!

Kerry thinks having money is the equivalent of having good breeding but he is the perfect example of just being a moneyed bore.

Can you imagine John Kerry at a massive earthquake? Flood zone?... "I told you and told you darned fools not to build here -- figure it out!" Earthquake: "It's your own darned fault; you know CA was a live wire." Kerry actually said this before. He said (paraphrasing) that people who live in and build home along fault lines and in tornado zone and on the beach are costing the American people millions of dollars when these foreseeable disasters hit. In other words...you built it, you live in it. We're not helping you.

It is true, the taxpayer does end up footing the bill. But, it is a rather thorny issue. He might as well say: Hey, you New Yorkers!: Taxpayer is not going to foot the bill if another plane is used as a weapon to murder you and destroy the city.

His arrogance is only surpassed by his astounding, and willing, naivete. What a spoiled, emotionally-immature man. I can spot his agenda. It's the old: refineries are killing minorities. Minorities can only afford to live in "bad air" places. Ergo, bring on the lawyers and let's sue on behalf of all minorities.

Of course, the same "low-income" logic he does not apply equally, for everyone.

**"Cheney is pure gold."
Big time. There’s not a statesman this century that I have more respect for.**

Absolutely he is the top Statesman of the 21st Century lets us not forget he went back into public service at great financial loss to himself. This is part of what the DemocRATS do not understand that someone can do this and therefore they constantly jibe about Halliburton etc because they believe he had a hidden agenda for going back to Washington.

Yesterday the elite media are now attacking Lynne Cheney for being a loyal supportive wife more or less saying that she is pretending to be the little woman when she of course is a brilliant scholar and political activest herself.

They cannot understand how she is also a great public servant and sees her role for America today as supporting the VP in his crucial role in history. Far from selling out she is participating in the wider picture; I am certain some of the recent Cheney comments have been as much Lynne as Dick apart from well documented Windsurfing comments.

She was of course the first one to comment on the the sensitive war comment of Kerry it was her that did say that the terrorists would not be impressed with a sensitive softer side which of course the VP took up on the very next day. No she has not sold out just has another avenue for her views.

**Like the diplomatic way he treats our colation of the "bribed and coerced". If I was Britian, Australia, Poland, Italy, or even the surrender monkeys of Spain, I'd be angry.**

I am British and live in England and I am disgusted with Kerry and shove it. The thought of her as first lady does not bear thinking about if he didn't insult world leaders she would. They prattle on about Bush alienating the world from the US I dread to think what the Kerrys would do.

**And remarkably restrained considering what he could have said. I'll bet if Dick Cheney could have said what he wanted to say, it would have blistered paint off the walls of the room.**

If Lynne Cheney could have said what she thought you would never have been able to have painted the walls again the walls would not be there.

As with all of us, there is a dark side to my character that often takes a perverse view of things. That side of me keeps whispering that if this nation really is stupid and suicidal enough to elect John Kerry president, then I hope we reap the whirlwind.
