Again, the authority to regulate commerce is self explanatory. You are the one who has tried to contort words into something far afield from their plain meaning.

So, you're saying there are no gay patriotic Americans serving in the armed forces fighting the Moslems? How about Jews, Shintoists, Hindus, Sikhs, or even other Moslems?
You have a very narrow, bigotted view of the world, and I think your posting comes very close to violating two of the four proscriptions on posting on this thread.

You have no idea.
I knew I shoulda ping'd ya on the guy who blew up his commode and then his entire apartment by dumping leaked gasoline from his vehicle to dispose of it.

You have rejected a an explaination of the nature of that power as it was understood by the people who transferred it to the federal government in favor of an understanding formed by you, according to the meaning of the words that you have become comfortable with.

Sounds like one of those urban legends. Must be a case of life imitating art ... or something that rhymes with art ...

If you don't understand that the only powers that our government has are those specifically enumerated in the constitution then there is no point in talking to you. That includes state constitutions as well. If you belive that the federal government has enumerated powers and the states don't then you should change your name to radicalantiamericannationalist or perhaps stateconsitutionwhatsitfor.

You have a very narrow, bigotted view of the worldIf there are, then they are the exception to the rule. Freedom is being spread to the world by Southerners and Texans, not a bunch of feminists and queers as some seem to imagine in their pinko, fairy, NAACP view of the world.

I agree with your views but the problem is that the Supreme Court at the moment refuses to allow anti-pornography laws to prosper. The question of pornography should be a matter of the legislature to decide, not the Supreme Court. If the pro-pornography believes that a law is unfair to them, its a matter of them campaigning in Congress to have that law which in their opinion is unfair to them repealed or otherwise amended to remove its seemingly perceived bias.
The matter on whether pornography should or should not be allowed is a matter than should be only be decided by the legislature. The politicians in Congress -- not the judges in our courts -- are more competent to decide on this matter. The courts have no authority to decide on this matter.
The pro-pornography sector seem to be satisfied that their wishes for the legalization of pornography has been achieved through judicial approval. Those who know the intimate workings of society see that the euphoric victory that the pro-pornography sector achieved with the judicial legalization of pornography is just short lived because sooner or later the courts will reverse themselves and uphold anti-pornography laws as constitutional.
When this happens, both the pro- and anti- pornography blocks will join hands in seeing to it that the question of whether pornography should or should not be allowed in society be a matter that only the legislature can decide.

Sex is overrated. Its not as earth-shattering as porn leads you into believing. Being a couple and screwing each other won't change your world. But its still fun and there's always novelty to keep love-making from becoming deadly boring.

This is NOT a site devoted to the discussion of sexual issues. If Jim Rob wanted to make it happen, he'd have to charge a credit card fee and make it a secure site so minors can't view inappropriate content. But that would change the character of FR forever. Letting porn in here would compromise this site's accessible nature and free posting policy. Its a very big trade-off. So the ban has nothing to do with management's being uptight prudes about sexuality.

The best and most effective weapon against pornography is prayer.
