Everybody's LOVING the Newsweek poll

Since Kerry has framed the election as who will make a better wartime president, I think it would be useful to poll veterans as to who they think would make a better leader.

In a dangerous world infested with sharks, Kerry would be chum at America's expense.

The Crawford paper endorses sKerry (circ 425!) and it's a national story.

Any bets as to whether the MSM will ever mention this endorsement?

Sadly this is a retorical question, we already know the answer.

Yes, Fox and Friends almost jumped the Shark. Chad(weasel boy)Clanton denied Kerry sad anything about a global test and would not forgo a preemptive strike. I did not get the Bush spokesperson's name she offered to send the clip from the debate and Clanton blew her off. No comeback from the weekend "Gang of Three", after Clanton's comeback they thanked the rep from the Bush campaign and stated Clanton would be back after the break to discuss the NRA "poodle ad". I don't know if it is going to be a continuing theme, but it seems since their ratings increase they are starting to ignore the Conservatives that brought them to the dance. If they continue to whore themselves to the Liberals they will find their ratings can go to an abysmal level just like MSNBC.

What a great endorsement from the Lowell Sun!

Other papers should take a look at that one.

I don't think it sounds like a movie star name. I think Kerry hires spokesmetrosexuals who have names that sound porno. My nickname for "Chad Clanton" is pornboy, Tad Devine could be "pornhurl."

Polling veterans? The majority support Bush. My American Legion hall insists on remaining non-political, and I'm sure they all do that. Still, there are clearly more Bush supporters than detractors.

Of course many support Kerry but the ones I've seen who are Kerry supporters seem to do so for other reasons. One, they are diehard Democrats and cannot see beyond their party. Two, veterans have other things that determine who they would support. At the Colorado state fair I saw a guy with a shirt that said "Veterans for Kerry" on it. However, he was also wearing a button that said "Teachers for Kerry." His allegiance to his union outweighed his veteran status.

As Rush says, 'A Tad too Devine"

I think Tad Devine without glasses when he snarls looks like Chucky.

I agree. However, I've decided after the Dims and the MSM, the group I despise the most are "undecided voters." Those who are just now making up their minds.

Crap like the Newsweek poll does have an effect on them, just like the lame debates. The MSM will RAM it down the UV throats, at the urging of the Dims.

It's part of the vast, left-wing conspiracy!;-)

Kate O'Beirne's newbie appearance on MTP reminds me of how the MSM recently fell in love w/ Pat Buchanan, after years of calling him a Nazi, once he came out w/ a book critical of the GOP. Any Republican who wants face time just needs to be critical of Bush, and any author who wants instant publication just needs to pee on some papers and give it an anti-Bush title.

I suspect that the Lowell Sun is a much more conservative newspaper than, say, the Boston Globe. Any Freepers living near there may have an opinion.

I notice that they carry columns by Barbara Anderson - an anti-tax warrior.

Fox and Friends...sometimes, it's just too silly to take seriously. Unfortunately, it's all we have in the morning.

Richard Holbrooke...it's amazing how much air time a lame bureaucrat can get if they criticize the Bush administration.

Everyone can remember that on October 14, 1980, Jimmy Carter was leading Ronald Reagan among likely voters in most polls.

I'm not happy about the president's debate performance, but it was possible that his campaign was peaking too soon. That danger is gone now.

Michael Savage on his radio show Friday was livid about Lehrer's questions, and will probably continue on that issue Monday, would be my guess.

But other than that, I've heard nothing on any tv show unfortunately.

We were discussing the debates, the media, and the election yesterday at my bible study. A very intelligent and reflective man said that God has a plan for one of these two men to be the President for the next 4 years.

The media is giddy with the opportunity to try to resuscitate a Kerry campaign that has been on life support for 2 months. I am confident that God’s plan will prevail.

Going into the next debate, the media have now clearly made GW Bush the underdog. That was their first mistake.

Their second mistake is underestimating Kerry’s arrogance and hubris. He is now going to believe he actually is even or ahead in this race, and that will be his downfall. He cannot help being a selfish jerk and pompous windbag. He will alienate the American people, and he will do it quickly.
